When we got to the building, we had trouble getting ahold of the host in order to gain access to enter the building. After speaking with him on the phone, we definitely do not believe it was his fault. It was the system issue. Once we spoke to Malachi, he was very apologetic and kind in helping us get into our apartment. All in all we good experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

Convenient but not

The apartment was 30 min away from everywhere I needed to go so that was great. Parking garage was conveniently across the street but there is a lot of traffic just to get to the parking garage. I stayed with my family and the noise restriction after 10pm-8am is tough having kids ages ranging between 10yrs old and 5yrs old. I made it into a game so it was fun but still not ideal to have to stay on top of your kids every move during the night. The couch needs to be replaced looks are deceiving. The bed in the bedroom wasn’t comfortable either. The rules about shoes on the carpet is a bit much for a vacation home (again kids), I’m a very clean person but I felt like I was walking on eggshells more than vacationing. If it’s a group of adults staying, have a great time. But it is not family friendly.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear the stay didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. To clarify, this is an apartment — not a standalone house — which comes with shared walls, ceilings, and floors. With that comes the expectation of respecting neighbors, especially during quiet hours (10pm–8am). The 10pm–8am quiet hours are not arbitrary; they’re in place out of respect for neighbors who live and work in the building full-time. Most guests understand this and have had no issues — This isn’t an unusual or unfair rule, but a standard part of apartment living. Out of over 80 previous stays — many with children — yours was the first to raise an issue with this. Regarding the “no shoes” policy, it only applies to the bedroom — the only carpeted area in the unit. The rest of the apartment is hardwood, and we simply ask guests not to wear or store shoes in that one room to keep it clean for everyone. It’s a small request and a common courtesy in many homes and vacation rentals. As for the bed, I apologize for the discomfort. Feedback has been mixed — some guests love it, others don’t — which I believe comes down to personal firmness preference. While I respect your opinion, many families have stayed comfortably here without issue. We strive to provide a clean, respectful space for all guests, and I’m always working to improve the experience. Thank you again, and I wish you all the best in your future travels.
