A great room for a quick weekend getaway. The host was easy to message, directions were clear, the unit was clean and welll prepared with towels and kitchen items in the small space, and AC was quiet and worked well. We enjoyed our stay in the unit and would have no problem coming back if we happen to be back in town!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stay near downtown by the airport. This location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better location, place and stay. We were about 15-20 min away from the airport. 14 min from shops and restaurants and even the Lafayette Hotel for dinner. The host was incredibly kind, he made sure we had everything we needed. The place is within his home but we had no problem with that. The host gave us privacy and we had our own room that was so cozy. He provided us with everything we needed. A kitchen, fresh towels and had a beautiful garden that we sat in at night to watch the stars. I really recommend staying with Joe.

Very nice for the price. Big comfortable bed, easy check in, nice room nice yard with comfortable chairs for relaxing. The one complaint and the reason for 4 stars is week wifi and no internet most of my stay, I had to use hot spot to use my laptop.

Very kind host. We enjoyed our stay. Easy parking for 1 car infront of unit. Kitchenette and bathroom were fine for us but may be tight for larger people. AC and water heater work great! Hope to return again in future!

I loved the stay! The neighborhood was very quiet. Parking was convenient and the location was tranquil. I enjoyed the outdoor seating overlooking the fruit trees and the grill area. The room came with all I needed for my stay from storage to kitchenware. The host was very understanding and flexible, which I appreciate. I accidentally misread my check in time and he was very accommodating getting me in at a decent time, which was earlier than the given check in. The host family is a nice couple that were very warm and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again if I revisited the area!

This place was very clean, the hosts were very very nice and allowed us privacy. Minutes away from north park. They have a beautiful garden and view. It’s a simple room yet spacious with its own entrance , shower, kitchenette, tv, ac/heating. Perfect place to rest your head after a day on the town. Would definitely book again!

Really nice spot! There aren’t many pictures of the listing, but it was really clean and modern. AC runs cold, theres a fridge for drinks, and the bathroom is nice! The property owner was quick to respond and very kind and understanding. It’s not too far from a lot of what San Diego has to offer! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

We had a great time! There was parking for our rental car. We had a little trouble understanding some expectations about the property (ask before using the washing machine, and there was a section of the yard with chairs and a deck he said was dangerous but there was no signage or indication of that. Otherwise it was lovely!

Clean car garage turned into a small cozy guest room. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, dedicated parking space outside.Kitchen was very small, I didn’t use it so not an issueBathroom is also very small. Specially the shower, the shower head and hose has a weird inconvenient placement, it gets in the way.When I arrived there was no shower towels in the room, host was quick to provide them after asking. Also the wifi never worked for me while I was there.

Great spot that has a very nice bed and a decent size space that's completely separated from the main house.It has a shower, plenty of closets to put things away and space for parking.The check in process was a bit confusing, but I think that was mostly our fault.There was no info on what the check in process was, but I didn't tell the host when we would show up, so not his fault.There was also no info on Parking, but it was available. Here's the information we needed:There is a white garage near the wooden moving fence. He let us know to park in front of that garage.Our entrance was to the left of the white garage into a side gate.It was locked when we got there, but I feel like if I told them the time we would arrive then It would have been taken off.The side house where the VRBO is has a lock on the front door, and the host gave us the code.The things that could use more improvement is that there was no towels in the place other than one hand towel by the kitchen sink.I'd recommend to the host to put a few towels in the place before the guest get there. Im sure they would be available upon request. But the host answers messages pretty fast, the backyard is beautiful and the room is nice!We would love to go back again!

Well kept renovated garage, so it was close in proximity to owner. Adorable tiny kitchen which we didn’t really use except to put drinks in the fridge. Had ac unit which kept everything nice and cool. No blow dryer so bring your own. Within 3 miles of downtown so easy to Uber it and not worry about trying to find parking. Quiet neighborhood.
