The Salty Parrot

The Salty Parrot is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath beach house located in the WindMark Beach Resort. This coastal residential community sits between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe, offering tranquil and serene shorelines. Within the resort, you’ll find several amenities designed to enhance your vacation experience.

Windmark is perfect for families and is located on Saint Joseph Bay with calm waters perfect for swimming, kayaking, and all things `BEACH FUN!` It features a large heated pool and a children’s playground located in the Town Centre. There are walking, biking, and golf cart paths that extend throughout the entire community, with several boardwalks leading to the beach. Most boardwalks include outdoor showers and water stations for quick clean-up after a day of playing in the sand and saltwater.

WindMark Beach is an active community that includes a gym, Fit as a Fiddle, where you can purchase day or week passes. Dining options are available overlooking the water at the View on Old 98, Brunos Pizza is wonderful and you can have a cocktail, listen to live music, or pick up spirits at the Mill and Mercantile. There is also a candy and ice cream shop so something for everyone! Just bring yourself and your bathing suit—everything else will be waiting for you! We are also pet-friendly.

You can enjoy sitting outside on the screened porch, along with two other porches on the back side. The first floor includes the living area, kitchen, and dining room, while the second level houses the three bedrooms and two full baths. If you enjoy cooking while on vacation, this is the perfect spot, featuring a gas 5-burner stove, ample counter and cabinet space, and a roomy pantry.

Would you like to hire a Chef to come in and make a gourmet dinner for the family one night? Let us know and we will get you the contact information when you book. This service is booked up several months in advance so please ask for this information right away. If you would like groceries delivered and put away before your stay there are several available. Vacation Prep Squad, Ready to Relax Grocery Services, LLC, and Riley Brown`s Forgotten Coast Food Taxi all do a wonderful job.

For those looking to explore the nearby towns and local shops, Panama City is just 45 minutes away for a great day trip and Port St Joe and Apalachicola are both within easy reach of Windmark, offering additional dining, shopping, and entertainment options. With so much to do and see in the area, guests are sure to have a memorable and enjoyable vacation!

We are dog friendly and our dog fee is $175 for up to 2 dogs. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture. Our beaches are dog friendly but they must be kept on a leash. There is also a dog park in the community where you can let your dogs play off leash.

Please note that WindMark Beach does not allow boats or trailers to be parked overnight or in the driveway.

You can rent a golf cart during your stay from St. Joe Rent All or Barefoot Rentals. If you would like to rent bikes, kayaks or paddleboards check out the R&R Outfitters which is located in the town center of Windmark.

Travel Insurance which can include cancel for any reason. If you are traveling between the months of June-November Travel Insurance is highly recommended for Hurricanes.

A damage deposit is added to each reservation to cover any damages that may be incurred during your stay. This deposit will be refunded 5 days after your stay in completed.
-Please be respectful of guests that come in after you - No fishing bait allowed in the house, freezer or refrigerator at any time. Shore fishing is wonderful but all bait must be kept outside the home in a cooler.
-Our area is a turtle sanctuary and we have a leave no trace policy. Nothing can be left on the beach overnight and all outside lights must be turned off.
-Please do not walk or let children play on the sand dunes. These dunes are the only protection from waves and storms for all gulf front homes. Thank you.
