Large Historic Luxe Bankers Hill Apartment
Oversized, Fully Equipped 1 Bedroom Apartment in Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego. Nestled within a Manor-like property with a Central Courtyard great for gathering, relaxing or entertaining! Conveniently located in a walkable neighborhood, just a few blocks West from World Famous Balboa Park, world class restaurants, eateries, cafes & tourist attractions. Just a few minutes ride from Downtown San Diego, Little Italy, Hillcrest, Beaches, Coronado Island & San Diego International Airport.
This 1 Bedroom Apartment was Originally the Guest Quarters for the Main Home built in 1912. While it has been updated several times over the years- we have tried to restore some of its original features & charm while adding many modern comforts & conveniences. Entry is located right off the sidewalk, with easy keyless access. Enjoy a large great room with an oversized sectional, twin daybed & dining area with seating for 6. Fully equipped Kitchen with all of the Small Appliances & gadgets to make you feel right at home. This unit has premium, luxury bedding & towels, etc.. The Bedroom features an oversized, single seater chair that fold down to a lie-flat bed (not quite a twin, but think Business/ First Class Airplane Seat) with chargers built in. There are 2 large closets guests can use as well that have hangers, iron & an ironing board.
We supply all bedding, linens, towels, etc for your stay. We do not replenish disposable items or items that need laundering during your stay, Unit subject to construction noise from across the street during the days & times where construction is permitted, per local law/ ordinances.
Check-in Time is at 4pm the day of Arrival. We will send check-in instructions shortly before check-in time on the day of arrival. If you would like an early check-in, we offer an Early Check-In Guaranteed for 2pm the day of Arrival, for a nominal fee of $40.00. Please let the Host know upon booking or prior to your Arrival.
Check-Out Time is at 10am the day of Departure. We will send check-out instructions the day prior or morning of Departure (for short stays). If you would like a Late Check-Out, we offer an option for you to stay until 12pm (noon) the day of Departure, for a nominal fee of $75.00 **subject to availability**. Please let the Host know upon booking or prior to your Departure. If Unit is not vacated at agreed upon Check-Out/ Extended Check-Out time, Guest maybe charged a Late Check Out Fee or additional nightly rate (with no access to the property) as penalty.
No Data Mining/ Crypto Mining on Premises.
Do not leave AC/ Heat on upon departure.
Unit Subject to Construction Noise from across the street- we have no affiliation. If you would like to complain about noise, contact SDPD Non Emergency & file a noise complaint.
Toilets- Only flush toilet paper. Guests will be help responsible for plumbing issues if found to be caused by not following this rule or by flushing foreign bodies etc.
A general note (in response to feedback and setting expectations for future/ incoming guests): We provide/ restock general basic supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, soap, basic cleaners, etc) in the unit for short term stays in between guests & do not replenish these items during your stay unless the Unit was not adequately supplied and noted immediately upon your arrival. In general there will be at least one roll of paper towels & 2-3 rolls of toilet paper and a few trash bags + Hand/ dish soap, shampoo/ conditioner etc.
