Neu renoviertes Condo, umgebautes und aufgewertetes Master-Bad mit vielen Extras. Gut gepflegt und sorgfältig gepflegt. Schöne Wohnung im Keauhou Akahi hat Hauptschlafzimmersuite mit eigenem Badezimmer, geschickt umgestalteten 2. Schlafzimmerbereich bietet zusätzlichen Platz.
Wirklich die beste Lage mit einfachem Zugang, sehr wenigen Stufen und schattigen Parkplätzen. Der zusätzliche Schlafbereich verfügt über ein ausklappbares Schlafsofa.

Der Hauptwohnbereich ist offen und ideal zum Entspannen, zum Musikhören oder zum Planen des nächsten Tages zum Schnorcheln, Wandern, Essen oder einfach zum Entspannen und Genießen des Paradieses. Separater Speisesaal und zentrale Bar hat einen großen Tresenbereich. Das Lanai verfügt über einen Gasgrill.

* Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist vollständig intakt (minus Trennwand) und vom Hauptwohnbereich entfernt. Master-Schlafzimmer und Schlafbereiche verfügen über Deckenventilatoren, Fenster mit Gartenblick, viel Platz und einen offenen, luxuriösen Meerblick.

There was no Internet, no AC unit needs new shades. The ceiling was peeling. There was also a cockroach in the tub the second day.

This place was perfect, I was close to a wedding at the Outrigger without the Outrigger price! This was much more spacious than illustrated in photos, great space and ideal layout! The property was relaxing and quiet, and I loved the pool and balcony! Had to watch out for a few lizard friends trying to break in :). No issues, and great communication and recommendations from Stan! It would be a pleasure to stay here again!

Beautiful ocean view

This condo has everything necessary for an extended stay, the views from the lanai and grounds are beautiful, and the location serves as a perfect home base for exploring the big island.

Great location, had everything we needed!

Perfect for our family. Great location, close to great snorkeling, supermarkets, Kailua-Kona. It was so useful to have the snorkel masks and boogie boards! Stan is a great host, answering all my questions before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Lovely stay

Stayed at Stan's place for 8 nights and had a great time. Nice location close by to everything you need, clean and cozy condo & super responsive, compassionate host who really wants you to enjoy your stay at his place & on the island. Nice accommodations. Excellent communication with host. Amenities excellent. Disappointing that even with using the bug light in the dining area and bug spray on the lanai screen gnats, flies, moths, and mosquitos still got inside requiring constant cleaning. It was also confusing that the pool key was separate from the rest of the keys and instructions stating where it was were one sentence in the middle of a paragraph on the unit instructions.

Amazing Sunsets

Keauhou is a great area to stay. Very convenient to everything. The property is well maintained and the pool is great. The lanai makes this rental amazing. Coffee in the morning with a view and sunset viewing at night. Just wonderful. Our property manager, Steve, was the best. I have never had a better manager than him. Made our stay very easy. Great place to stay.

Amazing location

One of the best locations on the island for snorkeling. 2Step is nearby. If you are lookin Goff a beach for the kids with sand, Magic Sands is also near. Shopping center with a grocery store is also nearby. The owner is extremely responsive. There are Beach chairs and other items needed for play. All in all a great time.

Loved the condo.... everything you could possibly need in a rental. The owner was very quick to respond if you had a question. My only complaint was the street noise, because the back of the condo faces the road. Other then that, what a view from the balcony....

excellent stay

Communication with Stan was excellent and he called me even before we arrived and sent us precise instructions. House was exactly as described. Kitchen utensils were sufficient for us even to cook. Very friendly neighbors. One night we ran into a small plumbing emergency and local property manager Tom immediately responded and arranged a plumber first thing next morning. A short distance to beach. Overall we were very satisfied with the stay.

Perfect stay!!

Loved staying at the Condo here with my wife and 2 year old. It was clean and comfortable and a short drive to everything. A nice kitchen and grill saved us a lot of $$$ on eating out too! It was also nice to have access to beach chairs, boogie boards (and there was snorkel equipment that we didn’t use because my wife hates fish, LOL) The condo is pretty old-school Hawaii. If you’re looking for something super modern you might want to keep going, but it was spacious, had a great view and was a great value for us. I called the owner begging for an extra 2 days if we changed our flights, but they were already booked! Mahalo!

Great, chill, residential area

My 4 friends and I stayed here for 14 days, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The price, the location, and condo are really great. The people in the surrounding condos are very nice, as is everyone in Hawaii. Stan was a great host, quick to reply and easy going. Kona is a gorgeous island, especially if you know good locations. Our group had local friends we could rely on. But most places you find to go online will be awesome too! Couldn’t recommend more! This condo has everything provided that you would need. Loved it!

Great condo

The condo was stocked with everything we could have needed. Watching the sunsets from the lanai every evening was the best part. Communication with Stan was great and easy. He was very helpful to help us plan our trip and answer any inquiries during our stay. The listing does mention there is two double sofa beds and one double bed but there are only two double sofa beds. They aren’t the comfiest beds, but it did the trick for our vacation. We were glad we read the other reviews and brought ear plugs with us… those frogs are REALLY loud. Overall, we really enjoy staying here, Stan was a pleasure to deal with and we would stay again.

Aloha Heather, The Koki frogs are an invasive species and have been a nuisance. We have encouraged property management to find an environmentally friendly way to solve the problem. keep in mind most condos in Kona are older. This is no exception. But, It is well maintained. We had a pleasant stay except for road noise. It was hot and humid during early November 2023. We had to keep windows open all night for it to cool off. Road noise from Alii Highway was excessive in our mind. Great location to access Keauhou Bay.

As many people have mentioned, Stan is very through, prompt and reliable as a vacation rental owner. He also gave us extra information such as the nearest grocery shop. His condo manager showed up with a brand new rice cooker and a sponge! We really appreciated all the beach gears including parasols and snorkeling stuff. The bed was comfortable, and fans did a good job to keep the place cool at night. It was a perfect size for two adults and one child. Neighbors were quiet. Don’t be surprised at a natural alarm clock...birds sing loudly there!

Not as we expected

Although this condo is in a beautiful, quiet complex in a nice area, it is actually only a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. The other sleeping area is the living room, where a double sized sofa bed and a blow up mattress in the closet can accommodate sleeping 6, if people don’t mind sleeping together. There is only bedding for 2 beds. Don’t expect to bar b q on the balcony, as the bar b q burner shield is burnt through and the paint on the inside of the bar b q is actually peeling off onto your food. Other than the incorrect number of bedrooms, the condo is acceptable.

Hello Lani, Thank you for the opportunity to see our need for improvements. The BBQ gas grill is not always used by our guests. During my last stay, I completed the bathroom remodel but only checked to see if the gas tank on the grill was at least half full. I neglected to do a thorough deep cleaning of the grill and for that I apologize. If you had contacted me during your stay, and informed us of this issue, I would have arranged for this to be corrected. In regards to our listing describing bedrooms and sleeping areas, we posted multiple photo angles detailing the separate 11' X 12' area with the fold-out bed being used and also tucked away would properly show prospective guests the true lay-out. We never would falsely describe amenities and that is why I added 5 additional photos of the second bedroom area, minus a partition wall. This would more properly be defined as a, "Sleeping Area". Previous guests with parties of 3, 4, 5 and sometimes 6 people have stayed at the condo but never felt we improperly advertised the actual number of bedrooms or sleeping areas. That is why we often email a floor plan in PDF to accurately describe what our guests are renting. For this misunderstanding, I sincerely apologize. I will immediately update the listing so their is no further confusion. When couples or 2 individuals have stayed at our home in the past, it was never a concern but since you brought this to our attention, it will be addressed. We want to earn the right to receive a 5 star review and extend an invitation for you and your spouse to return to our home in future. Location and Safety were Perfect.

The location was perfect to everything we needed and chose to do. Great snorkeling tours one block away. Farmers Market 5 minutes away. Everything was clean, enough pillows and sheets. Enough kitchenware, pots and pans (could use an extra skillet), plates, cups, etc. The outside Lanai with the view of the ocean and sunset were perfect. Pool is great. Supplies for snorkeling for kids was a nice bonus. If I had to suggest anything, I would say be prepared for the quite atmosphere, it's not really a place for young children to be noisy, but there are plenty of places to take them for the day. We were okay with respecting quite time, others might not be. I brought ear plugs because I am a light sleeper, there are tropical birds and frogs. Also, we had an interesting neighbor below (I guess a visitor) that yawned loudly all night and morning, not the property owners' fault, but again, was glad I brought my ear plugs. Loved that there was an inside and outside table. Plenty of beds, and seating area. Loved that there was a washer and dryer in the condo. There were two showers, but only one got real warm water. I would recommend the place to friends and family. Owner was great about texting, calls and emails.

Aloha Danielle, Glad you had a memorable time and enjoyed the location. I wonder who it was making the loud yawning sounds in the condo below? The owners also do short-term vacation property rentals; most likely someone with sleep apnea. ( I guess??) Please stay in touch as returning guests will get preferred booking status and rates. Our stay here was just perfect! The community is quiet, centrally located, well-equipped, and comfortable. The view of The Outrigger and Keauhou Bay is wonderful and being a short walk to the marina and market was a game changer for us. Plenty of towels, the bed is comfy, good water pressure, the grill and beach accessories… the list goes on! The pictures are accurate, the pricing appropriate, and we will definitely stay here again next year.

Fantastic !

Actually, my husband and I are resident in this community and I rented this condo for my family. My adopted daughter had a wedding last Aug. 29 and they really like the place as it is just a short walk to my condo and they had a wonderful time with us. Stan, the owner, was a really very accommodating. My adopted daughter and her husband enjoyed every minute ofcit. The view of the ocean from the lanai during sunrise and sunset was awesome. They just left yesterday bringing the wonderful memories of Hawaii. Thank you.

Excellent Accommodations

We had an amazing time in Hawaii and in large part due to our stay at Stan’s. He was highly engaged and responsive from prior to our stay and throughout to ensure we had everything we needed. The condo was comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The location was fantastic as a home base for wherever we wanted to go. We will gladly rebook here the next time we head to the Big Island.

Wost host ever

Horrible host I have ever deal with. For the amount i pay to stay at this apartment. I expected for him to restocked essential cleaning supplies for the next guests to be comfortable. Specifically during covid. Never replace broke appliances and blame on the guest. Otherwise, great location.

Housecleaning staff reported abuse of the property, destroyed linens, food, juice spilled throughout the condo. (1 toddler +1 small child) allowed to run amok, scattering food and debris. Bathroom mats stained, towels used to wipe up coffee spills on floor and furniture. Used diaper bag left in bathroom, smell of feces and urine, sand on bedding, floors, pictures tell it all. Accused our local cleaning staff of "scamming". Disrespectful of Hawaiian culture and how hard local islanders work to provide clean accommodations for visitors. Large amounts of food left on plates & dishes then directly in the dishwasher; complained that dishes "were not getting clean". Stayed for 12 nights, expected us to restock, used up everything and replaced nothing. Utility bill was doubled!! This guest has another name when booking on other travel sites. Not all guests get 5 stars.

Beautiful Condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean and orderly. The view from the lanai was absolutely stunning. We sat outside and ate every night. The owners are extremely nice and will help with any issue that could arise with your stay. I highly recommend staying here and will be staying here again!

Wonderful

My two teenage sons and I enjoyed ourselves at Stan’s place. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful plates and appliances. The unit is located by one of my favorite farmers markets- Keauhou farmers market every Wednesday from 9a-2p. The sunsets are gorgeous and can be enjoyed from the lanai. Thank you!!!

The Keauhou Akahi Condominium complex, was built in the 1970's and is located approximately 6 miles south of Down Town Kailua-Kona. Our condo is just a short walk to Keauhou Bay. The condo features optimum orientation, elevation and location. Our returning guests tell us its the best location in the entire complex. Safely situated with easy access and very few steps. The elevation allows for the ocean breezes and the evening mountain winds to naturally cool the property.

Parking is close, convenient and well shaded. Our property features quality remodeling, renovations with many upgrades including a new washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge, newly remodeled master bathroom, porcelain tiles throughout and ceiling fans above each sleeping area making the place very comfortable and cool. Views from our lanai are ideal for whale watching during the winter months while enjoying cocktails or meals.

Just a short distance to the Keauhou Out Rigger Resort, on Keauhou Bay; famous for its Manta Ray viewing, farmers markets and world famous luau's. Listen carefully and you can hear the Hawaiian music around sunset.

Guests can walk down the hill to the Keauhou Bay and boat harbor; its the departure point for chartered Dolphin Watch tours, Deep Sea fishing, Scuba Diving, Sea Quest tours, the Fairwinds II and other private, chartered boating adventures.

This quaint harbor is home to the Kona Kayak and Canoe Club where avid paddlers meet every morning. Nearby historical sites are throughout Keauhou; also close by, "Place of Refuge" and numerous historical sites and Hawaiian Sacred Grounds.

Within 2 miles miles, you're at Kahaluu Beach Park, considered one of the best and safest snorkel beaches in the entire Hawaiian Island chain. Also known as "Turtle Beach", and just beyond the coral reef this public beach extends to areas famous for boogie boarding, surfing and stand-up paddle boarding.

Our property is located in one of the most desirable areas of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. All amenities are within short distance. Easy access to restaurants, shops, historic landmarks, scenic overlooks, world class golf, amazing scuba diving, hiking, healthcare and urgent care facilities, supermarkets and a cine-plex movie theater; but away from the typical tourist areas.

Our condominium complex is approximately 30% owner occupied , more intimate and a quieter setting with 48 units and 78+ parking spots. The property management is on-site and our area is clean, quiet and safe. The HOA takes immaculate care of the grounds and pool area. Many of our guests are frequent visitors and are like family.
