Geräumige und romantische Steinvilla mit 1 Schlafzimmer. Eine geräumige Suite mit 1 Schlafzimmer bietet einen Zugang zu einem großen Balkon / einer Terrasse mit Blick auf tropische Gärten. Es gibt ein sehr großes Badezimmer, einen Flur, eine geräumige, voll ausgestattete offene Küche und ein helles Wohn- / Esszimmer mit einem weiteren bequemen Ausstieg.
Das Wohnzimmer hat einen doppelten Futon für zusätzliche Gäste, falls erforderlich. Ein angrenzender Ausstieg zum überdachten Balkon und zur Terrasse mit Blick auf ein grünes Tal voller tropischer Pflanzen! Ergänzt wird dies durch eine überdachte, „versteckte“ Steintreppe, die zu einer Wet Bar / Terrasse auf der Ebene über dem Eingang führt. Paddelfans, die die sanfte Brise am Hang ergänzen, sind sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb der Villa angebracht, um zusätzlichen Komfort zu bieten.

Excellent view of the ocean and daily sunsets. The pool was utilized after our early morning hike, for lunch, and in the evening after dark. Igor was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and inquiries.

Memorable stay

This was a great vacation rental, nicely secluded but within easy reach by car to all that the area offers. The interiors were clean and inviting. Igor is a great owner/manager/host who was warm and welcoming. It was enlightening to casually chat with him about the area and how it has changed/developed in the last few decades that he has spent here since making CR his home

Beautiful property, stunning views

I stayed at Villas Casa Loma for two weeks while studying at the language school in Flamingo.. I was so happy to be away from the crowds in Flamingo. It’s very laid back and welcoming with beautiful grounds and pools. The best part was relaxing on the deck at sunset and watching the sun disappear into the ocean. A wonderful memory.

Yes, we are trying very hard to accommodate all our guests' wishes and do maintain our 2 beautiful tropical, warm pools in tip-top shape - the same applies to our wonderful tropical gardens. Sun, beaches, pools, great food and awesome folks!

We stayed in suite 401 for 6 weeks. When compared with other rentals of similar quality this place was a good deal. Nice owners on site, nice cleaning staff and hard working grounds keepers. The place is kept clean and the gardens are really nice. The 2 pools are much better and bigger than what you will find in most places. Whenever we had a problem, the owners made sure someone was sent to our unit to take care of it. If we were to come back we would consider suite 501 as it is right next to one of the pools yet very private. We had a great time there and met a lot of nice people. The area is filled with good restaurants but we mostly ate at the house as vegetable/fruit places are numerous and full of fresh produce which we loved! Make sure to checkout the sail boat tour by Serendipity tours. We took the tour and it was extremely pleasant, worth every penny, aboard real sail boat. Also try to make it to El Viejo for a boat tour on the rio Tempisque where we saw plenty of wildlife (plan for high tide). Then take a drive south to Playa Junquillal but don't tell anyone about this hidden gem. Enjoy!

We're so glad that you found it comfortable and relaxing. Our private reserve has a variety of birds, game and tropical plants that will satisfy the nature lover, while sports of all kinds are only minutes away... Fruit and vegetable markets, wonderful restaurants offering all manner of delicious and interesting foods. Shopping excursions to fascinating local markets. Surfing, sailing, whale watching, fishing, white water rafting, tennis, horse trail riding, and golf are but a few of the activities that immediately available. Come for fun. Come for cultural activities. Come for excitement and adventure. This country is filled with "hidden treasures" like Playa Junquillal. Do not overlook "Lola's" at Playa Avianas where you will find the best fish and chips!! This warm and gentle land offers it all - and more! Costa Rica: No artificial ingredients. Outstanding....Suite spacious ,staff exceptional

We have stayed here three times and plan on returning...Igor and Tom- and their staff- keep the property and grounds in spectacular condition....There are two pools, maintained exquisitely, and from different places, views of the Pacific. The Villas are conveniently located respecting beaches, restaurants, and markets.My daughter and her husband visited and were also pleased...A great retreat from Northern winters...or any place...

Thank you once again for your return visit! Now that you have been here 3 times, we are now thinking of Suite 401 as your own personal Villa! We are looking forward to hosting you again in 2019. As you have found, beaches with their individual personalities, proximity to shopping, excellent restaurants and a wide variety of activities are just a moment away. Our peaceful gardens and 2 tropical swimming pools offer a salve for the sole, while vistas of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding hills and valleys are always just a glance away. Always something to see and do here in our little corner of Paradise! Do it all - or simply curl up with a good book and relax in the shade of a palm tree or on your own private terrace or deck... not clean

likes nice location, nice owners and left you alone. dis- likes the fridge was not clean, microwave had old food in it. some of the dishes were dirty. I have stayed many places in costa Rica and understand the cleaning people are not great on detail but more supervision is needed. we got a change of bath towels once in the week we were there. the slider in the living room was worn out and did not open properly so we just used the one in the bedroom. the window curtains probably were never washed, in all a little worn out and in need of a good cleaning.

Thank you for your observations. Unfortunately, things 'fall through the cracks' sometimes. Your visit was - sadly - one such rare occasion... Let us try to address your complaints: - Towels are replaced every 3rd and 7th day - as advertised. Your stay was for 7 days. On the 3rd day, the towels were changed. (You left on the 7th day - No chance to change the towels again.) - The slider in the living room actually does work fine...There was a dowel of wood between the wall and the slider to prevent it from being opened from the outside. The dowel simply had to be removed. (Simple security.) - Although we try to conduct a "white glove" inspection of each of our accommodations here, we are not always as successful as we should or could be... - Our cleaning staff normally do a reasonable job of preparing for new arrivals and are actually quite competent in this regard. Note that none of our previous guests have made us aware of this... Time constraints, in this case, may have prevented us from following through as we might have... We apologize for this oversight. - We completely understand your concerns regarding the kitchen appliances and only wish that you had taken a moment to make us aware of the problem at the time and we could have easily addressed it - hopefully to everyone's satisfaction. - On your first day, you requested beach towels and chairs and we advised you that we have never offered these items. (At that time, it should have been possible for you to make us aware of your other concerns, but you did not...) - Our regular maintenance extends to things such as cleaning/replacing of curtains. Our subsequent inspection of them did not indicate excessive wear and tear, but we will be even more vigilant in future. In all, we thank you for your observations and trust that - in spite of the negatives - you were able to enjoy your brief visit to our little corner of Paradise in a positive way! PURA VIDA! A quiet retreat with essence of Southern France

One of the secret places of Costa Rica! You will not regret choosing Villas Casa Loma for your next vacation. Accommodations are all unique, spacious and comfortable. There is something for everyone. (one of our favorite activities was to settle in with a glass of wine on our spacious covered terrace and toast the sun setting over the ocean each evening.) Consider the fabulous sunsets, the wealth of wildlife, the friendliness of the 'locals' and expats, the fascinating things to see and do! Thank you Tom and Igor for making Villas Casa Loma such a special place to relax in! The pools, views, area activities, the fine restaurants, the friends we met ... All special... We will always remember our stay there with relatives and friends from Europe. From the moment we got off the airplane we did nothing but smile and laugh. What a great vacation! There is so much to see and do in the area of Flamingo Beach. We hardly scratched the surface, but kept very busy during our 2 month visit to Costa Rica. We are all planning to return for the fun and the friendships. The beaches are just the start for a wonderful tropical experience. Foodies will love the huge selection of great restaurants in the area. Active individuals will certainly enjoy - as we did - the many options for activities on both land and in the water. We fished offshore one day and had a fabulous time. The next day we went for a day trip to some fascinating local villages, took a spectacular river cruise, ate delicious local food and bought indigenous souvenirs for friends back home. Other days we either relaxed by one of the pools, visited various beaches of the area and snoozed in the shade of the palms that dot the property. Much to do! We highly recommend this property. Perhaps we will meet you there on our next trip.

WOW! Another successful visit to our little corner of Paradise! So much to see and do...There never seems to be enough time to accomplish all the things on your bucket list... On your next visit, we will have to go to Casa Chameleon for a spectacular culinary treat and world class vistas! Truly high end! It is just minutes from our compound and is a great addition to the fascinating restaurants available in the area! Beautiful!!! The villas and the view!!

We loved our villa!! We woke up to the most beautiful ocean view through vibrant bogavalya flowers! Enjoyed the best Costa Rica coffee by the pool each morning! Ended each day watching beautiful sunsets with a cold Imperial!! Doesn't get much better than that!!

The trip we took to the Blue Zone was something that everyone should do while here. Our day trip to the Chorotega Indian village of Matanbu, the really instructive visit to the coffee processing plant, etc. - finally ending up winding through the amazing hills to the Pacific Ocean beaches of Nosara and Puerto Carillo before driving up the coast again toward Santa Cruz and Flamingo Beach.... Just another spectacular day in our little corner of Paradise!! We are so glad that you also had the chance to sample some of the many spectacular restaurants in our area, as well as checking out some of the great beaches of Guanacaste, too! Paradise Visited

In 2012 we went on the internet to look for accommodations for our trip to Costa Rica. We wanted some place beautiful, relaxing and near a beach. We found Villas Casa Loma and with fingers crossed booked two weeks. When we arrived in January of 2013 Tom and Igor were waiting to greet us and to show us their little piece of paradise. The grounds are gorgeous with beautiful plantings, two lovely 40 foot pools and many little terraces and private areas to sun and relax. Each morning we were greeted with the sounds of the Howler Monkeys as they journeyed up the valley and heard them again each evening as they returned. We were enchanted with the birds, the flowers, the spectacular views. We had an amazing two weeks. We returned in January 2014 for a three week vacation and were once again delighted by our accommodations (this time a two bedroom villa on the lower part of the property). It was like staying in a friend’s guest house, warm and inviting. We met other guests (some of whom have been coming back for many years and other first timers). Villas Casa Loma is a beautiful property in a great location, close to good restaurants. You can walk to the beach, grocery store, and even into the town of Flamingo. This property lends itself to the laid back tourist who wants all the comforts of home in a tranquil environment. We are planning a return visit in January 2015. I would highly recommend Villas Casa Loma and Tom and Igor as wonderful hosts. Gayle & Barry Oshawa, Ontario

What lovely comments, Gayle and Barry ! Thanks so much ! And once again, thanks for your delightful visit ! ... We are anxiously awaiting your visit again in January 2015 ! All is ready for you... Since your departure earlier this year we have been dilligently planting and cleaning up the gardens. Another labour of love... The wildlife here continues to be interesting and exciting ... Yesterday we sited a family of coatimundi, mot-mots, hummingbirds, a flock of little parrots and a beautiful little red fox gamboling on the driveway just below "your Villa ". ... The rainy season is gently arriving and we are experiencing some light rains in the late day and evening, which is really helping the new plants to take root. ... The resident parrots, turtles and birds are experiencing spring - nesting and mating. Quite a delight. ... We recently attended a wonderful evening of music and dancing at one of the premier restaurants in the area: Bahia del Sol. A great time was had by all... The new Coast Guard Station was dedicated in Flamingo early this week, which is also a big plus for the area. Things keep getting bettter and better here So much to do here ! We are excited about your next visit ... Don't forget to pack your senses of humour and adventure again next January ! We are waiting for you here in our little corner of Paradise. PURA VIDA !! After travelling extensively through many countries of the world, we came to Costa Rica for the first time - more than 30 years ago and instantly fell in love with the nature, people, flora and fauna of this gentle country. Almost 30 years ago (1989) we purchased a very large natural preserve nestled above the Pacific Ocean in the very sleepy, quiet community of Flamingo Beach in the Pacific North-Western province of Guanacaste. We never looked back - never regretted this decision. In fact, we started by building our first house. Then a guest house, followed by a pool. Before we knew it, we had designed and built a unique complex of beautiful Villas with a large pool - all built with the highest regard for their tropical surroundings and natural setting. From every window or terrace, one can appreciate the magic of Nature. It has been very rewarding personally for us to create this unique little corner of Paradise!
