Great location

This condo had a great location, close to restaurants, shopping and John's Pass. Would definitely stay here again, condo was clean and perfect for our small family.

Cute place, nice location

Upon arrival, check in was easy and quick, using an online portal/website. Kitchen had most things needed to cook small meals, bed in master was comfortable, must bring beach towels and other beach items you may want. Overall the condo had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay and great location

Room was great. Well maintained and clean. Only items was that the porch was on the south side of the building, causing the porch to be very hot by the end of the day and we did not use as we planned.

Great place for mental health wave therapy

The place was great. In addition to the cute counter height balcony chairs shown in the picture, there was a spacious patio chair suitable for someone like me with a wide behind and a bum knee. Many hours spent there! The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. There were a few jigsaw puzzles in case of bad weather. I did have a struggle to figure out the kitchen faucet. In addition to turning it on you must trigger a sensor on the base. Pool is not yet open and there are few other repairs needed to the building, but the condo is in excellent condition.There are several restaurants not far away. I recommend Joto Pizza for nice lasagna, if you get a taste for Italian food while there.

Would Stay Again.

The condo was remodeled very nicely. The kitchen was a little tight and could use a few more cooking utensils, but if you don't plan to cook much it would be fine. The basics were available. It is a great location on the beach, not over crowded. The elevator is in need of an upgrade, only one for the entire building and it is very slow and has no ventilation. Regardless, we would come back again. The overall positive outweighed the minor things. We plan to come back next year!

Beautiful on the Beach

Wonderful location with great views of the beautiful white sand beach, and a comfortable, spacious condo. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be on a quiet part of the beach, but still in walking distance to restaurants and bars. We also appreciated that when there was a gas leak which sparked a fire by the transformer that knocked out the power to the building with a danger of explosion and the sheriff would not let us back in saying the building and the one next door were evacuated, so we had to stay in a hotel down the street, the owner/management company reimbursed us for the missed night. The pool was nice, even though the heater was knocked out by the gas leak and fire, but still comfortable with lounge chairs always available.

Not good

The place really is outdated for the cost, it smelled when we first arrived so we bought candles and air sprays. I was trapped in the elevator for an half hour and the fire department was called to rescue me, and after talking with home owners there this happens frequently. The home owners there are very rude to guests! RUN

Penthouse on the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The living room is roomier than you would think from the photo. Very clean and comfortable place. The master bedroom was large and very comfortable. It was a cozy space onto itself. The guest bedroom was smaller but no one spent time there. The only comments would be kitchen was small. The countertop and the overhead cabinets could use upgrading but were more than adequate. The bathrooms likewise could use some upgrading. They are dated and could use some touches like better soap dish lo=cation and type in the master shower. No where to put shampoo et al and so wound up on the floor. In fact I had to put my razor on the window sill and ultimately forgot and lost it when when we left. Annoying but minor issues.Otherwise, the view was nice. And great to be up high. Pool and beach access was great.Overall, a nice unit and would rent there again.

Great location and view; needs upgrading

The picture is misleading. The unit is nicely decorated but is in dire need of an upgrade; at the very least a deep cleaning and some fix and repair. The kitchen is equipped with various odds and ends but lacked some essentials like dish towels and hot pads. Our WiFi network wasn’t available and we were assigned to a router in another unoccupied unit. The tv in the master bedroom didn’t work at first. I switched out cable boxes with the guest bedroom until the property manager could get a technician out there. The king bed in the master was comfortable but had a dust ruffle on it that was so badly torn I tripped over it several times until it just tore off. The carpeting needs cleaned if not flat out replaced. The plumbing is such that if you’re in the shower and someone flushes the toilet you darn near get scalded. The furniture is cute but needs cleaned and new padding. The tracks on the doors to the balcony are so full of crud they are difficult to maneuver. The property management was nice, informative, friendly and responsive. The property itself is nice enough and we would stay again but not in this particular unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering the condo, there was strong sewer smell. Property was run down, everything falling apart, kitchen cabinets hanging on one hinge, etc, broken electrical outlet and rusty inside fridge. And all this for hefty price of $2000 a week. More like a scam . Management very unhelpful, denying that there is a problem and unwilling to help

The bedroom carpets are long past their best before date. The building itself was decent but the unit should have been upgraded a few years back

Emerald Isle 601....February 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A birthday celebration trip to a part of the Florida coast we had never seen. Loved the location, the view, and ease of sightseeing up and down the beaches of SW Florida. Our condo was adequate and comfortable. However, the washer and dryer was out of order to begin with, then, unfortunately, a water main broke and we were without water for 20+ hours. While that comes under the umbrella of ‘stuff happens’, the Property Management Company (who had said to contact them if we needed anything anything at all) was absolutely no help at all. We had to haul water from the swimming pool to our rooms in buckets to make the toilets flush. Six floors. With commitments on the second day, we asked, and was turned down, for a refund for that day so we could get ready for our appointments.....and had to go down to the Doubletree Inn to get a room. the management company even said they had no clue as to the name or address of the condo owners. I have never ever written a poor review, but I have to be honest of our unfortunate experience.

Dirty and outdated

The property is beautiful,but the unit is dirty and outdated. The living room has been painted over wallpaper YEARS ago and every seem is popping. All walls, wood trim are scuffed, carpet in bedrooms is dirty and worn out, paint peeling off all cabinets in kitchen, Living room furniture is very old, dirty and very uncomfortable. Under sink cabinet broken and falling off. It’s a shame the owner rents the unit in disrepair, it should be updated or removed from rentals. The balcony was never cleaned before our arrival, covered in beach sand and toenail clippings,Gross.

Nice view but dingy and dirty

We stayed on the top floor and upon check in we saw that the apartment even with that incredible view needs extreme updating and cleaning. I’m normally not so picky about how perfect places are but this place was unfortunately very dirty and made me basically have the feeling that I needed to keep my shoes on the entire time I was in there. The floor in the kitchen was extremely sticky. So bad I had to wash the floor myself. The furniture was also in need of a good cleaning. I felt the need to wash all utensils in the kitchen before using. The toilet seat in the master bath was constantly falling off. The whole place had an unfortunate dingy feeling to it. Such a pity because the apartment with a bit of a good power cleaning once in a while and it’s generally nice decor, could be spectacular! I don’t know if it was the owner or the cleaning crew who are responsible but If that was my apartment, I’d strive to make sure the upkeep of my ocean front property remained tip top. Especially when renting it out for top dollar!! If you rent here be prepared to clean it and wear your shoes at all times 👎😕
