We had THE best time staying here. Everything was so clean and so cozy. We felt right at home. Plenty of towels for our family of 4 and much more spacious than I thought it would be! Community was nice and clean and being that close to the beach was 10/10. Hosts were great with communication anytime we had a question. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is very clean, very well equipped, and the location is excellent. There is access to multiple pools, you are steps from the beach, and surrounded by every type of store/shop/activity you could want. Parking is convenient. There are beach “supplies” provided. This is just a top-notch property. The hosts are remarkable. Communication was timely, clear, and extremely helpful. 10/10 recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Orange Beach.

This property was the perfect place for our spring break vacation! It had everything we needed, plenty of space, a nice kitchen for cooking, and the beach access was ideal. We will definitely be back.

The place was beautiful and location was excellent! We would stay here again when back in the area! We had an issue with the internet when we first arrived but resolved quickly. Luckily we don't very often use the dishwasher as the layout was such that you couldn't open the dishwasher door all the way.

We will most definitely be back! This place checked all the boxes for us- clean, close to the beach, nice neighborhood. The hosts were so friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. They responded quickly and answered any questions we had. We can’t wait to book this place again!

Our stay at Tannin 2BR Cottage was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The cottage itself is cozy, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed—full kitchen, comfy beds. The pool was pristine and never crowded, and the private beach access just 100 steps away was a dream. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus.

This is intended to help not deterWe have visited this area regularly since the early 80's. We have stayed in lots of places, mostly the Caribe. As we have aged we have found beach houses and villages such as Tannin suits us better. -CONS-Starting on the outside the cottage was very dirty on the outside. A pressure wash needed terribly. The beach box was nasty and in disarray. (my husband organized it) No grill, The outside shower needs a minor adj, maybe an eye hook, (can't use both hands to wash sand off beach gear), NO umbrellas at pool, No access to community pool. INSIDENew mattresses needed, new shower rod in guest bedroom needed, drawer/dishwasher (not the best design), Frig will not open all the way, good skillet needed, dish rack needed. Paper towels were the pits. -PROS-Communication excellent, inside was clean, (sofa could use cleaning) cozy and cute little community, plenty towels and linens, great location, great for walkers, joggers, bikers, we loved that this unit was on the end, closer to beach access, (road noise didn't bother us) clean pool / perfect size. We had a great get away! Four adults and two children, five and six! They loved it!

Property is as-shown and as described. Plenty of room for our family of four, stocked kitchen (excluding pantry staples), pool directly out the front door, located across the street from the beach, couple of places within walking distance, close to restaurants, etc. We would stay again! I do wish a little more was provided in terms of basics (e.g., more than one roll of TP per bathroom, more than one trashcan liner) but we were expecting that as that detail is included in the property description and picked up those items at the grocery store down the street. Thanks for having us!

We had an amazing stay! 10/10 recommend! The home is beautiful and smelled amazing! Very short walk to the beach, easy access. There was a container ouside with a wagon, umbrella, chairs and more! It made our first time to Alabama very memorable and made going to the beach a breeze. 10/10 would stay again!

Weekend Getaway

Great property for a quick weekend getaway before school started back. Perfect size for our family of 5. Location was great with quick and easy access to the beach basically right across the street. Don’t worry about the traffic because there is a light and crossing to get you across with no worries. The pool is a few easy steps also from the front door and the kids loved this. We would stay here again!

Great Beach Stay

We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at our house in the Village of Tannin. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was clean, stocked, and a short walk or bike ride to the State Park and private beach access. We loved the community pool and the proximity to great dining and activities in Orange Beach. Highly recommend this spot for families or anyone looking to unwind by the coast. We’ll definitely be back!

I was happy we found a place that would take our 4 dogs. The place was convenient and close to the beach and the pool was a few steps from us. I did not like all the road noise at night. Around the inside of the pool needed to be cleaned. The cart outside our place was filled with trash that we had to clean out. We did pick up after our dogs did their business outside but there were others that did not. The place inside was very nice. Sofa stains need to be cleaned. Second bathroom lights need to be brighter. I was given a list of things that maybe we should purchase which was a lot. For the price we paid, they could of had at least coffee as an amenity plus spices like salt and pepper. The place also needs a full length mirror so you can see how you look when getting ready to go out. I did want to leave after a couple of days and we did. So instead of leaving Wednesday, we left the place on Monday. I have stayed at cleaner places for less money and had more amenities.

The house was great...communication was great...the only thing that i thought was not great....was the description of 100 steps to private access...it gave me the impression that we would be on the same side as the beach. Other than that...EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!!!

So this was a great location and the private beach access was great. However, there are things to be aware of before you book. This is right beside a busy four lane road so expect road noise. Parking is very tight and can be an issue if you or someone at a cottage close to you have more than one car. The cottage itself is very cute and serves the purpose of a beach getaway. The kitchen is lacking a little in variety of tools/utensils available but still made it work for our needs. One item that wasn't mentioned that ended up being a huge plus for my family is the Gulf State Park that is just next to the neighborhood, accessible by a small walkway. The park offers amazing biking/running paths and beautiful scenery. A big plus for us!
