Not only is it built into the top of Cheyenne Mountain on 13 private acres, but we dare you to find one with better style or view! It’s a cross between ultra chic and relaxing fun! It has 4 king bedrooms, a set of bunk beds in the North American themed garage game room and a pair of twin rollaways too.

Must be a minimum of 28 years old to book. No pets of any kind. No smoking, no parties or events. Once booked you will be required to send a selfie holding your ID for verification purposes only. The door code will not be entered until we receive this information. No exceptions. No 3rd party bookings. Quiet hours outside from 10pm to 8 am. Noise travels down the hill easily. 4 x 4 or all wheel drive is a must from September to May for sure.

Ponder Heights is literally at the top of the mountain. Please understand it’s a 10 minute drive from the main street below up the hill. You will wind through a neighborhood and then up the mountain. It is a typical mountain drive, so be prepared for some thrills. You will see most likely lots of deer, possibly some turkeys, rarely maybe even a bear. It has steep and winding turns, BUT once you do arrive, it is so worth the extra 10 minutes to get up the hill. On average due to the extra 10 minutes up the hill most everything is around 20 min away ( give or take).

It is a custom home and the previous owner was very tall.. so the cabinets/ microwave are a bit higher than normal. We have provided a step stool for those in the kitchen. Once you see the view… you probably won’t mind the tall kitchen island or cabinets. Haha

The house is 3 levels. You will arrive coming up the stairs to the main level. On it, you will find a half bathroom, the dining area, the kitchen and a living area. If you go downstairs, you will find the Antartica themed king bedroom with a bathroom right next to it. Also, there is a bar/ kitchenette area, the pool table, a gaming table ( chess/ checkers), the garage that holds twin bunk beds, pop a shot, ping pong table, and theatre area with 100” tv and 9 reclining chairs. The garage does have radiant floor heating and also ceiling fans. It is North America themed. Under the stairs on this level, you will find our kids play sushi restaurant. We keep two twin rollaway beds behind a curtain next to the fireplace. When you go up the stairs, two levels you will find the remainder of the bedrooms and bathrooms along with laundry room. On the top level is the Asian themed king bedroom, African themed king bedroom, and European themed king master en-suite. The two king bedrooms, share a bathroom in the hallway, which is South American themed and there is an Australian themed laundry room.

There are doors leading out to the balconies for each upstairs bedroom. Outside on the main level you will find a massive hot tub, a dining table, outdoor couch set, propane grill and the fun igloo.

To rent this home, we do require a minimum age of 28. Also, once booked, you will be required to send us a selfie, holding your ID for verification purposes only. No third-party bookings allowed. No parties or events. 12 person max occupancy. No smoking and no pets of any kind. Please note: if you book anytime in the fall, winter or spring, be prepared for snow. You MUST have an all wheel drive vehicle (4x4) during these times. If you do not, we are not responsible for you getting up the mountain or any situation or cancellation request due to it.

This is the wilderness of Colorado, so at any time you could encounter any number of wild animals. Please do not leave any trash or food items outside. This will encourage animals to come. We have bear proof trash carts to the right going out the driveway. The trash company will not come up our driveway so unfortunately trash will just need to be taken to the carts. You may see at any point deer, lizards, spiders, scorpions, insects, birds, snakes, turkeys, mice, bear, mountain lions, bobcats etc. Please stay safe and use caution when outside. We can not obviously control any animal situation and will not issue a refund for that.

You must be able to do stairs for this 3 level home.
Also please note: the video game that is shown in the garage had to be removed temporarily for repairs. It may or may not be there upon your arrival. If we cannot get it fixed, we may change it for a different game.

The only way to add the bunkbeds and two rollaway twin beds were to add an additional bedroom in the listing. Technically, we know the game room garage is not a bedroom therefore we want you to be aware. The bunkbed is in the game room garage. There is a curtain for privacy that you can pull around the beds. The rollaway beds can be moved / added to any area you would like, they are stored in the lower level behind the black curtains next to the fireplace.
