Have been to Japan over 50 times. This was easily my favorite Vrbo stay! The host is incredibly friendly and thoughtful, even leaving us tasty dinner packages to welcome us. The property itself is brand new, packed with amenitites, very high-tech with great 5G WiFi and international TV Variety.What also set this place apart was the convenience—from the easy check-in to the discounted luggage shipping service. The location is perfect: tucked away in a neighborhood with amazing food and easy parking. 8 min. walk to Shin-Nakau station. only a quick 5 minute train ride into the heart of Shinjuku. We felt right at home!

The property is a very nice home was very comfortable for our family of 4. The host shin was great. Did extras for us that you dont get with most host. The neighborhood was nice and very quiet and peacful. If we go back we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located in central Tokyo. The best part is the host Shin, he’s resourceful and very willing to help and provide information about surrounding areas and travel tips.

Amazing family vacation

If you are going to Japan and are looking for an amazing place to stay close to everything and with a very nice host, this is your place. We are a family of 7 and stayed very comfortable with easy cafés to the metro with a just five minute walk. Also very close to places to eat and 7/11. You won’t go wrong staying here.

Quiet and relaxing neighborhood

Shin was a great host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Having the larger space, kitchen, and laundry was a must for my family because of the length of our stay. I would stay here all over again rather than a hotel.

Great Getaway in a quiet neighborhood

Clean, and comfortable. Owner is very nice and attentive, he picked me up and was always trying to improve my stay. I would recommend to anyone traveling for the first time. 8 min walk to train and so easy to get around via train. Thanks for everything.

Great location and service by the host

The location of the house were great - it was easy to travel around Tokyo from there. The host was very friendly and service minded. He offers pick up services and could recommend places to visit as well as nice places to eat. He was very keen on us having the best out of the visit!One minus was our 6th bed. It wasn’t really a bed - it was home made version that was uneven and uncomfortable to sleep on. The cleaning was overall good but a bit dusty at some places and left belonging from previous guests guest under the bed.

House is located in a nice neighborhood. Very walkable with restaurants and grocery nearby. Located within 7 min walk to train station. Off main roads so quiet but very close to many locations. Owner of property is AMAZING. VERY helpful and communication was top notch. Shin-san (owner) GOES above and beyond any host. House is as described. Very clean, space is good for Japan. Well kept, modern and very comfortable.

Great house in a great neighborhood

Our stay in Tokyo was wonderful. The house is a beautiful Japanese home in a quiet neighborhood. My wife, four teenage children and I all slept comfortably. We were able to purchase groceries at a nearby grocery store and try cooking traditional food. Train station was about an eight minute walk for us. As great as the home is the best part is Shin-san, our host. He made us feel comfortable and went above and beyond what I would expect from a host. Shin answered our questions and helped us navigate our busy trip, which can be challenging for foreigners in Japan (none of us speak Japanese). Five stars for sure, and I would give six to Shin if I could.

This house is in a good walkable neighborhood with decent access to shops and a train station. However, I was not advised that the host would take a substantial damage deposit at check in, a chunk of which is kept as an admin fee. The listing states “Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees,” which is misleading. Expect a long wait for the deposit refund. A pocket Wi-Fi device was provided for guests, but it was no benefit to us as we had already rented our own.The check-in process was lengthy & more like a reprimand, with the host reiterating the same instructions despite our acknowledgement. Host expressed excessive concern that we might damage the property or steal the toilet, referencing scenarios of playfighting & putting holes in walls. Odd given that we are 2 mature professional adults.The house lacked basic amenities I’ve had in other Tokyo rentals. Only 1 thin towel per person for an 8 day stay, no laundry detergent, no kitchen basics (salt, pepper, tissues, dish towels), and only a single trash bin despite the need to separate garbage in Japan. The pans were not clean, which discouraged us from cooking. The beds were fine, but the blankets were thin and not comfortable. I’ve lived & worked in Japan and have rented other homes in Tokyo; this one felt under-equipped for guests. Location is good but the hidden fees upon arrival and the lack of essentials made our stay less comfortable than expected.

now i have an gave all autorized to vrbo to collect for security as well and our house is no somking house why you made an booking for non smoking house and i was wondering that your other guest is smoke for electronics tabaco and our house area is expensive house area as well so must be good and luxury house area so safe in central of tokyo,No,4 expeinsive area as well i have an mentioed about check inn that no outside light after go to bed and 2 days in load that light on you told me living in outside of tokyo area all times its central of tokyo its deffernt than other cities of tokyo. we do have use our our guest for down comforter and so light and thin so and we do have an each room have an aircondion and heater divice that also she has been check inn during time of season that tokyo was so warm as well from 18 to 24 its like light summer , do not make an many complain for these canadain guest and i also refund to her her security depoist of balance that already after check 14 business days rules by usa creidt card company , this is true fact is this reivew from guest and our house to MTR shin nakano station only 5 mitues away we do it our properties that 4 house in one house for guest to stay with us we lived in since grand parents over 120 years history in district

Depuis 20 ans qu’avec ma femme, nous voyageons à travers le monde, nous avons toujours été bien reçus et le Japon a été certainement le pays où l’accueil a été le plus chaleureux.Aussi, nous avons été très surpris de l’hostilité de l’hôte de cette maison à notre égard.À notre arrivée (sans nous répondre à notre bonjour), il nous a fait entrer dans la maison et nous a intimé de nous asseoir et de lui donner notre passeport.La principale préoccupation de notre hôte était qu’on ne casse pas le matériel et le mobilier de la maison. Nous n’avons absolument pas compris son insistance sur ce point : Il nous l’a dit au moins 10 fois.Nous sommes des adultes responsables et sommes toujours 10 jours après très choqués par cet accueil.Nous avions convenu d’un rendez-vous pour le check out à 09h00. Son absence ne nous a pas étonné et par sécurité (et pour la 1ère fois) nous avons fait des dizaines de photos de la maison et de son mobilier, pour éviter toute contrevenue ultérieure.La maison est bien équipée et assez agréable avec toutefois 2 points négatifs :L’absence de stores et des rideaux extrêmement fins dans les chambres, provoquent une clarté et un réveil obligatoire vers 05h00 dès le mois de mars.Si vous venez à plusieurs couples, il est important de savoir que si vous dormez dans la chambre du haut, il vous faudra impérativement passer par les 2 autres chambres pour aller aux toilettes.

O anfitrião foi super atencioso e rápido na comunicação, com instruções chegada de chegada desde o aeroporto. Fez um pequeno tour pela região da casa mostrando vários restaurantes, mercados e lojas de nosso interesse. A casa estava muito limpa e bem equipada com bons utensílios na cozinha, ar condicionado em todos os cômodos, internet com boa velocidade e televisão a cabo com canais regionais e internacionais. Região próxima de Shinjuku, apenas 3 estações de metrô de distância, e de fácil acesso para estações de Ginza e Tokyo pela Marunouchi Line.
