We stayed here for a SxS riding trip to Sundquist Trails and overall had a great stay. The view from the property was beautiful, and the cabin had most everything needed for a comfortable trip. One of the biggest pros was the location — Sundquist Trails were only about a mile down the road at the bottom of the mountain, making trail access very convenient. The fire pit area was great for relaxing in the evenings, and there were plenty of beds and space for our group.A couple things future guests should know before booking: the road up the mountain is very steep and curvy, so make sure your truck has enough power if you’re towing. The driveway is also a steep concrete incline. We were able to get a truck and 22-foot trailer in and maneuver it around, but the trailer did scrape the bottom slightly. It’s doable — just go slow and be careful. For riders, the trails to Tagger are accessed along Davis Road at the bottom of the mountain. The trail shown at the top of the mountain is a walking trail only and not for SxS access. We also had someone in our group with mobility issues. There is no stair-free entrance to the main house area with the showers, though the front porch steps were the easiest to use. One bathroom did have a walk-in shower, which helped. Also, don’t leave food in your SxS or outside overnight, and keep trash cans tightly closed — we had a raccoon visitor one night.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially for trail riders.
