The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything you would need. Very modern decor and comfortable indoor furniture. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from multiple large sliding doors in the living room. The bed linens were really nice and the bed was so comfortable. The bedroom we used was missing a nightstand light which I later found in the nightstand drawer with no bulb in it. We loved the extra large soaking tub, but the shower curtains in the bathroom with the tub were too short for the great water pressure coming out of the shower head causing water to run onto the floor when using the shower in that bathroom. The hot tub was great and very clean. Wish there had been beach towels or bath sheets to use for the hot tub. Acrylic glasses would have been helpful to use outdoors as well. We were very glad we were in a SUV, because the dirt road to the house is long and bumpy. All in all we had a great stay.

We had an amazing time! The location is great, a quick drive to town and the park, but you are remote enough to truly relax outside with great views. The house itself was very clean and well-stocked!

We loved the location, so close to Joshua Tree National Park. The view of the sunrise from the patio was wonderful. We enjoyed the feeling of privacy and space at the house. The gravel road to the house was rutted, but an SVU will get you there. We would stay there again.

Beautiful property, lovely stay

Just what we were looking for in joshua tree! The property was clean and comfortable. We loved being down the street from the park, near the town yet secluded enough to enjoy peace & quiet. Would love to stay again!

Always great to have people stay at Zen House and enjoy . some of the best parts of this area! Update on Zen House: it is currently in escrow and is scheduled to change ownership at the end of March. The new owners will be having some work done on the house and honoring the last few scheduled guests in the back half of April. I have managed this property thru multiple owners, but I'm not sure if I will continue to manage it in the future. Thanks for staying at Zen House! Vera

We loved our stay at Zen House! The location is quiet and beautiful -- so many places to sit outdoors and enjoy the expansiveness and beauty of the desert.
