Neighbors on both sides are full-time residents and have multiple dogs. The backyard is NOT fenced. The canal access is shallow and may have some local wildlife present. All Dare County public beach accesses are free of charge. Stay alert for rip current warnings, beach flags, and other weather-related alerts. The landscaping team operates on a weekly schedule; please excuse the noise. The Outer Banks is known for palmetto bugs, which resemble roaches but are harmless. Midge bugs, which resemble mosquitoes, and other insects. are very common and harmless will be present outside because of water proximity. For things to do, places to visit, and restaurant recommendations, try ChatGPT!

✔︎✔︎✔︎ HOUSE RULES:
Please follow quiet hours from 10 PM to 6 AM. Registered guests only—no extra visitors or overnight guests are allowed. No parties, drama, drugs, smoking, vaping, and weed use in any form. The septic system is sensitive, so please do not flush “flushable” items. Rinse sand off your feet before coming inside. No open flames, including candles, are allowed inside the house. Clean the grill after each use. Report any damages immediately. Check-in and check-out instructions must be followed. Please roll the trash bins to the street on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

✔︎✔︎✔︎ PET RULES:
One well-behaved, no/low shedding dog is allowed (no cats). Be sure to add your pup to the booking—a non-refundable pet fee per stay applies. Bring your own pet supplies. Pick up after your dog and clean your dog’s paws before entering the house. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture, and house towels may not be used for pet needs. If you leave your dog alone, please keep them in a crate or cage. Pets are not allowed in the hot tub. The yard is not fenced, and the house is on a busy road, so for your pet’s safety, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Please note that both neighbors have multiple dogs. Prevent pet-related damage and report any accidents immediately, as extra cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.

✔︎✔︎✔︎ COMMUNITY POOL INSTRUCTIONS:
The pool is located at 1000 Colington Drive, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. It’s open daily from 11 am to 7 pm during the season, which runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. At the gate to Colington Harbour and at the pool check-in desk, you’ll need to provide the property address. Everyone in your group will receive a wristband with a $2 refundable deposit. The wristband is valid for your entire stay—just return it at the end to receive your deposit. Please follow all association pool rules during your visit. You’re also welcome to enjoy the sound access, beach area, and playground nearby. The pool may be closed at times for maintenance, and we are unable to predict these closures in advance.

✔︎✔︎✔︎ HOT TUB RULES:
The hot tub accommodates up to 4 people. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times, and pets are not allowed in the hot tub. Do not use the hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or certain medications. Avoid use if you are sick, pregnant, or have health concerns. Rinse sand off your feet before coming inside. Do not use the hot tub if the temperature reads above 104°F, and limit soak time to 15–20 minutes for your safety. If you feel dizzy or overheated, turn off the jets and exit the tub immediately. No diving, jumping, or rough play is allowed. Do not add soap, bubbles, or bath products. Always close and secure the cover after each use. The hot tub is cleaned and chemically checked between stays.

✔︎✔︎✔︎ CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
Check-out is no later than 10 AM. If you brought a dog, please check the yard for any waste. Strip the beds and place all used linens and towels in a pile, including duvet covers. Gather all trash into the house trash can and wash any used dishes before leaving. If you used the grill, please clean it. Log out of any personal apps on the TV. Turn off all appliances and lights, and make sure the door is locked. Finally, send us a message as soon as you depart.
