Very unique. We had never stayed in a dome before. It is very modern and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the stars once the rain cleared out. We had a family of 4 stay here. My husband with our 21 and 18 year old. The sleeping arrangements were challenging but it was only for 1 night. It would have been awesome for 2 people! Lots of deer around closer to town which was fun to see. Not many places to eat close by and they close early so plan your meals ahead of time!

This was our first time staying in a dome as a family of four. The original dome was not available at time of check-in due to a plumbing issue and Dina communicated promptly to let us know she was switching us to one of the other domes. It was overall nice and clean but with some wear and tear with missing bathroom hooks, wobbly table and unsecured closet chest. The other things to point out is the bathroom is so small, my 5’4” frame could barely fit, same with the shower. We noted that if you were a bigger human this would definitely not be suitable for you. Also there is no ventilation in the bathroom so if you do a smelly #2 it fills the dome with that scent. Overall minor for us but some things to note. We did enjoy the remoteness but if you are planning on doing much outside of the dome, plan on a 30-60 min drive in either direction for main attractions. We did go into Crestone and shopped at cloud market. It would be sufficent for our needs but note that it is similar to a small local Whole Foods. We would come back to this area and stay at the domes again as it is beautiful location that met our needs.
