Our group was divided on whether the experience was "poor" or "okay". See more details in the photos section.Inaccurate location on VRBO site for "security" reasons.Told not to speak to neighbors and to pull shades down before dark! Asked for early check-in; told it would be 100. We declined. An hour later they said yes and hoped for a 5-star review. Front entrance trash inside and out; grungy interior front stairs and walls; bannister pulling from wall. This is a private access and not shared with other apts. Trash on outdoor terrace and metal objects lying around. Apt. was generally clean except primary bathtub very dirty with repair/construction debris. Towel rack pulling from wall in primary. In other upstairs bathroom, shower leaked from base of unit and water had to be mopped up after every use. Towel rack had already fallen off wall and remnant anchor/tile was loose. Each person was allotted 1 towel for a 5-night stay -- no bathmats, hand towels, or face towels. Fortunately, we found more towels on a high shelf in a closet. No shampoo, shower soap or dishwashing detergent.The worst: the lock box with the keys would not open late Sat. night. We called the mgmt co.who told us to shake it vigorously. We did this umpteen times. We asked for a locksmith, which they said we would pay for. We declined. They offered an adjacent apt and said they would resolve the situation the next day.
