Poorly maintained is an understatement. This place was falling apart. Living room furniture was old, torn and had no cushion at all. Carpet and rugs were old and dirty. The downstairs bathroom door was damaged and the upstairs bathrooms were not maintained at all. I can handle dated and old but this place was falling apart. We had to buy a sizable“Damage” insurance policy as part of our stay yet the entire place was damaged. The host messaged about some water damage from people not putting the shower curtain inside the tub upstairs. The water damage in that bathroom was YEARS in the making. The place was also NOT clean. When we stripped the beds at the end of our stay, there was BLOOD on the mattress cover and the pillow that had clearlyNOT been washed. The mattress cover in the second room was filthy and on incorrectly. We found a fake fingernail in one room and a dried up contact lens in the bathroom sink. There were open/used condiments in the refrigerator and a used bar of soap in the bathroom. I picked this place because the reviews were good and specifically praise that it was clean, but it was nowhere near clean. host needs to find a new cleaning and maintenance crew.
