Comfortably accommodates a large group. Great fishing on the property - brought in and released 18 or so fish. Great proximity to restaurants in Punxsutawney. Host was extremely responsive.

Very quiet and peaceful. Remote area so make sure you are set up for wifi calling as there are few cell towers nearby and only texting. Great way to unplug. Very beautiful area and the house was gorgeous. We had a great time.

The house was very nice and very clean we stayed the weekend for a wedding and were able to accommodate several friends and family members . Josh was very friendly and answered right away when I called him with a couple questions. I wish we had been able to spend more time at the house instead of at the wedding venue the back patio looked very relaxing and the whole house would be a great place to relax and have some down time . If we ever needed to stay in this area again we would gladly stay here again .

Was perfect for our needs! Host was incredibly responsive and accomodating! We were celebrating the Christmas/New Year holiday with our kids and grandkids. Plenty of space for everyone. The woodburning fireplace room (wood was generously provided by owner) and the large dining table became our main gathering place for meals and games. Had a great time and would return.

Family Reunion

Awesome house and the owner was easy to accommodate anything we may have needed. Well stocked with dishware, utensils and linen. Beds were comfy and clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for folks visiting the Punxsutawney area.

Great weekend getaway

My extended family (6 adults and 4 kids) came to Punxatawney for our annual Christmas in July get together. Josh's house was a great place for us all - plenty of space, great yard for the kids. We cooked all our meals on-site. Had a great weekend hanging out together, and Josh stopped by one evening to visit - super nice guy!

Punxsutawney, PA

Big place worked well for our group - back in PA for a family reunion type trip. The weather could have been nicer but not much could be done for that. Josh was an easy communicator and very helpful as we made changes. I would definitely stay there again if I ever am back in Punxsutawney

The wedding stay!

We were invited to a family wedding in Indiana PA. If we had seen the property of the Vrbo prior to the wedding, I think we would’ve had the wedding there the state was amazing clean well stocked. Communication for me is key and I was very happily surprised!

Nice size home , decorated to match style , Plenty of room and enough bathrooms to make it easy

I would summarize by saying that we would stay again . It did seem who ever stayed last there did not clean after themselves as far as the kitchen utensils, glasses , and pans !!! Other than that it was a fine property ! Pretty setting ! Ease of access and use of appliances !

Property was nice. Maintenance was mowing the grass when we arrived back from the store the first day so the kids couldn't play outside. Kitchen is lacking a sharp/ clean knife. I ended up just running to the store for paper products to use for the weekend. For the price of nearly 1k for a friday-sunday rental I would have liked to have nicer dishes and utensils as well as kitchen linens. No papertowels were provided so I had to run to the store again. House was ok clean, all tubs have mold growth in caulking. Over all the property is beautiful but for the price I would expect a little better quality of housewares. Linens that were provided were clean and comfy. Not top of the line but not awful. House is beautiful and has a lot of interesting nuances. It's nice that it holds a lot of people.Owner was very nice and explained about the mowing and that the trash cans were full and he needed to come pick them up the next day so we could put our trash in them.Overall a good experience just a little disappointed for the price.

Thanks for your review. Our payout is $705. All other fees that are added are charged by VRBO and go directly to them. I will check the knife block and add a new knives, so thank you for mentioning that. Will also make certain our housekeepers check bathtubs.
