Fish Tale Cove at Lake Sinclair, Spacious Family-Pet Friendly Retreat with dock

Escape to this beautiful lakefront house on Lake Sinclair in Eatonton, GA, with stunning views of the water every where you look! As you enter this dog-friendly vacation rental you will be met by a beautiful kitchen with modern appliances including a fridge, stove, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and an island making meal preparation a breeze. This open concept layout leads into a cozy living room with a large sectional couch, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions such as boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and wildlife viewing. A spacious patio overlooking the lake, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon barbecue with loved ones. Enjoy the swing, hammock chairs and yard games such as cornhole with a view! Gather around the firepit in the evening for s'mores and stargazing. The game room offers entertainment for all ages with a Ping Pong table and other fun games. There are also children’s books, YouTube TV, DVD player, and board games available for your enjoyment. With comfortable sleeping arrangements including 2 bedrooms with king beds and a bedroom with a queen bed, each of these rooms features a private ensuite bath. Downstairs has an ideal room for the kids with 2 bunks both with twin over full size beds, another bathroom with shower and separate laundry room. There is also a futon in the den and a sofa bed in the living room, so this house can comfortably accommodate a variety of group sizes. Linens, towels, and blankets are provided for your convenience, along with amenities such as a Pack-N-Play, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Our boathouse is available to dock your boat, you must bring your own bumpers and tie down ropes. Use of the owner’s boat lift and watercrafts are prohibited. Boat and Jet Ski rentals are available nearby at Sinclair Marina and Sinclair Wild Watersports. Crooked Creek Marina is less than a 10 minute drive with a boat launch for just $10. With an equally short boat ride from the house, Crooked Creek Marina also has a restaurant, fuel docks, and a store. The water depth at the boathouse is between 3-4 feet with around 12 ft depth at the opening of the cove perfect for a swim! Nearby attractions include: Oconee Springs Park which has a large beach area with a lakeside inflatable Water park, store and fuel docks and is a short drive or boat ride away. The Oconee River Greenway Park and Riverwalk in Milledgeville offer trails, paths and boardwalks to walk, jog, bicycle, relax and enjoy the beauty and sounds of the Oconee River. There are also fishing stations, a dog park and a boat ramp to launch a kayak or canoe. Bring your golf clubs or rent them at one of the world class golf courses all within about a 30 minute drive away. The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds at Lake Oconee is also about a 30 minute drive with a casual dining restaurant and seasonal events. Some of our favorite restaurants are Taylor’s Cove (by car or boat), Aubri Lane’s, and The Silver Moon. There is a Kroger and Publix Supermarkets in Milledgeville within a 20 minute drive, but if you don’t wish to leave Instacart does deliver to our home for your convenience. Milledgeville, the former state capital also has additional shopping, dining, and a cute historic downtown area. For those who enjoy history take a tour of Georgia’s Old Governor's Mansion from the 1800s. Firewood and propane are not provided.
