Das geräumige Familienzimmer verfügt über eine Fensterwand mit Blick auf einen grasbewachsenen, gepflegten Garten mit beleuchteter Terrasse / Patio und Grundstück. Perfekt für Mahlzeiten und Unterhaltung am Tag oder am Abend im Freien.
Dicke Sofas, dekorativer Kamin mit 51-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, flankiert von eingebauten Bücherregalen mit Tonnen von Büchern.

Better than home!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely home.location-close enough to walk to all the Christmas events at the hotel . Easy beach access too! Home was well stocked kitchenwise and the big hit was the childrens’ toys! We wouldstay here again !

Fabulous time

We stayed here for the Fourth of July. It was absolutely perfect. The best location in Sea Island. Two second walk to the cloister, tennis courts, etc. Also pretty much right next to the beach club. The house was perfect. Had a wonderful backyard and plenty of space for two families. We will definitely be coming back here again. Also the host provided everything.

This lovely cottage was perfectly situated in close proximity to all amenities on Sea Island. The owner was extremely responsive, organized and takes great care of his beautiful property. Pictures don’t do it justice

My family loved our stay at this home. The pictures truly do not do the home justice. It is a lovely, comfortable home with great outdoor space as well. It was easy to communicate with the owner. He was prompt and helpful. He ensured we were able to secure temporary passes to use The Cloister amenities and also provided a wonderful list of suggestions/ recommendations.

Lovely, comfortable house with great location

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Clay's cottage. The house is very accurately described in the listing and we found everything in great condition. We had 3 generations and everyone had plenty of space and enjoyed the set up. The house is very well stocked with most everything you would need in the kitchen and also the bikes and beach toys were a hit with family. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were high quality and plentiful. The location of the house couldn't be better. Just a short 2 block walk to the beach and another half block to the Sea Island Beach Club. Clay had wonderful communication throughout the process and everything was very easy to navigate. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage!

WOW! Perfect retreat!

I don't have words. The home was exceptional, loaded with everything you could ever ask for! 2 cribs, a high chairs, cabinet of board games, toys and puzzles for our littles, tons of sand toys, chairs, and towels for the beach. The bikes - trailer - AND kid seat were all put to good use and let us kick around the island even with our 3 year old and twin 1 year old's in tow! Beds were all really comfortable, bathrooms for every bedroom give everyone their own space. Kitchen was well equipped - some food, a ton of spices and sugar/flour/oils, laundry was perfect and also well stocked with detergent, laundry sheets, etc. The back patio is a perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning, or play in the grass with the kiddos during the day. Owner was one of the best I have ever worked with - very responsive, helpful, and answered any questions we had before our trip.

Location Perfection

This was our first time to Sea Island and I don't think we could have found a better home for our teens and their friends. The cottage was both beautiful and comfortable with a perfect configuration that allowed everyone to have their own space. Location was amazing!!! Quick walk to the club, beach and restaurants. We didn't use our car at all! Clay was very responsive and helped make our stay so perfect. Will definitely come back.

Charming Cottage and Great Location

This is a well kept home. My family of 10, adult children and grandchildren loved our stay! Plenty of room....grandkids had their own space upstairs. Ample parking for cars. Enjoyed morning coffee on the beautiful backyard patio while the kids played in the yard. Easy walk to the beach and all The Cloister has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous and spacious. Exceeded expectations!

The home is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room; plenty of parking. The kitchen is fabulous! The area is very quiet making it very easy to relax. From this home, it is 10 minutes to everywhere. We could walk to the Cloister in just a few minutes. Very nice and exceeded our expectations. I'd highly recommend this home. We will definitely do this again.

Our stay in Cottage 200

Our overall experience in Cottage 200 this summer was very good. Upon arrival, the Cottage was clean and ready for our moving in. The Cottage works very well for our large family, with 4 bedrooms downstairs and the large upstairs bedroom that allows plenty of room for 5 of our granddaughters. We really appreciate the close proximity of the Cottage to all the amenities at the Cloister and the Beach Club, all within walking distance. Also, the availability of the bikes provided by the owner is a very nice feature. I would highly recommend this Cottage to other families or couples who want to be close to the resort amenities and also desire a well maintained place to stay. Frank (Atlanta)

Our family loves vacationing in Sea Island and staying at the Edward’s home on 229 West Fifth Street! This is our third year and once again our family had a wonderful time. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The house is a beautifully decorated, well laid out, comfortable house for our family to use. The kitchen has recently been updated and is a great gathering place. We enjoyed riding the bicycles that are provided, grilling on the private back patio, and reading in the hammock. The beach is only two blocks away. The owner is extremely accommodating and a joy to work with. I always recommend this place to friends who are planning a trip to Sea Island. It’s a winner!

We again very much enjoyed Cottage 200 for our family vacation in June. The proximity to all Sea Island amenities is very appealing plus the numerous bikes available for adults and kids. The renovation of the kitchen was also very nice with updated appliances and more space for meal preparation. Overall, a great house for a large family that plans to use the Beach Club most everyday.

Goldilocks find!

Entering this home, I felt like Goldilocks when she found the bed that was "just right". This house is not too fancy, not too plain, not too far away from activties. It was just right! The kitchen and living room areas have been recently updated. We enjoyed breakfast daily on the back patio. One of the best assets is its location on 5th street, very close to The Cloister and to the Beach Club. The host was good to communicate and everything was as promised. Our family are native Atlantans and have been vacationing at Sea Island since the 1950’s. We love this place! St. Simons Island is nearby with plenty of affordable eating places. This lovely resort is 300 miles from Atlanta, but we still find time to go there every month to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. This is our home away from home. Who else can throw a party or schedule exciting events to enjoy like the folks at Sea Island Resort. Tons of daily activities are available for you and your family. We have owned this lovely home for over 25 years. It is our family's vacation paradise and is in the IDEAL location for any activity on Sea Island. Only 2 blocks to the Cloister Hotel, Beach Club, Atlantic ocean & beach, and Sea Island Spa and Tennis Center. Ride a bicycle or walk everywhere you want to go, even to St. Simons Island. This is the cleanest and safest beach in the southeast. Our children grew up here and our two daughters were married at the Cloister chapel. What a special place this is for us. Sea Island is protected with a security gatehouse with a live guard for your vacation privacy. Car passes are required. Owner can obtain those for your visit.

Our location relative to all activities presented by Sea Island Resort is unmatchable. We ride our provided bicycles to everything we do while there because of this. The terrain is flat and no hills to climb.In fact we have 12 adult bikes FREE for your use.One has an infant seat attached behind the seat. The back yard has manicured grass and is private, secluded, level, and roomy with a shaded hammock for relaxation. A well lit, spacious terrace/patio with chairs, and padded chaise lounge is available for evening and daytime events and relaxation. There is a teak wood table with umbrella, protecting you from the sun or rain, where you can have an outdoor meal. Use the Weber charcoal grille or sit by the portable, patio fire pit in the evening. You are only 2 blocks from the Cloister Hotel and Beach Club. In fact, you can see the Cloister Hotel from our driveway. There are 3 driveway entrances to our home and covered parking.
