Very good communication with the host. Lovely apt. All the necessities were there for cooking, relaxing, and personal care. The bed was VERY comfortable! Plenty of parking right out back. It is right downtown, so very walkable to cute shops and restaurants. The Apollo Theatre is behind the building; great entertainment there. We loved dinner at Brix, just one building over. The only thing to note, if you have mobility issues, is that it is a second floor apt, and there is no elevator.

Great host and clean apt in a perfect location! In historic downtown Martinsburg, where we walked to dinner and a show, then a great low cost breakfast at Boyd’s in the morning. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with supplies, and couch was comfy. Would recommend again!

A cozy little spot!

We had a great stay in Martinsburg! Great communication prior to check-in, and very understanding about booking issues. The location could not be more convenient. It’s basically equidistant from Antietam and Harpers Ferry. There are several great little places for food and drinks within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Affordable, clean, great location

The main reason we picked this property was because it was the only one in the area for less than 100 a night. We were surprised with how clean and neat everything was, as well as the amenities that came with the property for what we paid. We felt safe and our dog loved it as well

Great, homey feeling

This lovely two bedroom apartment was just as advertised. It was clean, bright & cozy. The very small issues we had (needed a bath mat & coffee pods) were resolved quickly and efficiently by Drew. The maintenance staff came quickly when the shower wasn’t draining properly as well. My husband, adult son & I stayed there for four days quite comfortably while visiting local family. I would stay again and highly recommend this VRBO!

Hiking!

The directions to get into the apartment were wonderful and specific. Downtown Martinsburg is quaint. We enjoyed waking around downtown and taking in the sights.Just a few things that need to be mentioned.1. The inside of the apartment was just as described. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were not. 2. The cleaning in the bathroom was not great. It was not cleaned thoroughly and I mentioned that to the host. 3. The shower nor the bathroom sink drain effectively. I mentioned that to the host as well so hopefully, those drains have been fixed. They should be checked every month to make sure they are working properly.

Check in was easy and communication wasn't really needed, however the host did reach out to see if everything was okay. There is parking in the rear, but it is tight if you are driving a pick up truck like we were and Saturday the is packed. I had to run back to get something in the afternoon and there no spots available. Luckily I was only running in and out, so I just parked in the middle blocking others, but only for about 5 minutes. When we arrived back at 6 pm there was only 2 spaces and my wife had to help guide me in because it was so tight that you couldn't just pull in. It took about 8 times of forward and backwards before getting into the spot. So beware if driving a pickup. There was only one small thin bar of soap for 4 day stay and 2 people. The bar was so thin that it broke when opening the package. We went and bought soap. No cooking pam spray and pan are very cheap and used, again we went and bought some. There is only salt and pepper for spices. It is a 4 person apartment and they give 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person for 4 days. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows are hard as bricks, other reviews mentioned this. We used the couch pillows for the bed, because the bed pillows hurt your neck. Bathroom sink barely drains. It really is a 3.5 star at best, but we can't do half stars. It is comfortable an the price was not bad. Nice location. However it recommended Brix 27 for dining, they have gone down hill, family in the area also said the same thin.
