The room was clean overall, but the pool and hot tub were closed for remodeling which was aggravating as we stated we were staying here for the amenities. In the master bath the hair dryer did not work, and the sink only has hot water. The sink in the kitchen was also leaking at the handset, but I was able to tighten and fix it. The lack of a kuerig coffe pot is something I would think could be upgraded fairly cheaply and would make a nice addition. The sofa cushions also had several stains on them. Overall, the room served its purpose and was clean, but to get a 5-star rating the owners need to make a few upgrades and repairs. The kids did enjoy the onsite arcade and food pantry!! We would try it again if all amenities were fully functioning.

I’ve owned this unit for over 12 years. Have traveled to Myrtle Beach for over 40 years and consider it a great place to vacation and plan golf trips. On my yearly visits I personalize my unit while staying by replacing old items and keeping in like new condition which will make your stay enjoyable. Beach Colony property is children friendly, has an exceptional maintenance department. Pools, corridors, elevators, lawn and parking garage are well maintained.
