Relaxing, spacious place to relax and surf for the weekend!

We had a great time here this weekend, surfing and relaxing on the two porches overlooking the water. It was nice to have secure parking and the grounds were really well maintained. Would definitely come back:)

Rosarito condo

Everything was good except the wifi it's terrible owner says there's no good internet in baja but restaurants seem to have very good internet.

I mentioned to you that the WIFI hook up for the condo was not reliable, so we had it disconnected, and since we stay at the unit sporadically, we have found that using the full time resident, neighbors' WIFI to be more reliable. Thank you for your stay.

Great views in a comfortable setting!

When we pulled up we weren't too sure what to expect. Once we got to our place and opened the door it was amazing! The balconies were the highlight! Sitting on them enjoying the view relaxing was great. The location was in between Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo. We went to both places. We had a great time and looking forward to going back :)

Nice location, beautiful grounds

We had a nice stay at Costa Bella. The location is convenient, particularly if you're going to spend any time in Rosarito or Puerto Nuevo. The grounds are stunning and the condo was the perfect size for our larger group. A couple things were a little rough around the edges, but nothing major. The night guard is rather salty. Make sure to bring confirmation of your stay in PAPER format with the condo number included.

Time to Relax and Enjoy

Reservation process was easy. Owner responded quickly to messages/questions. Condo itself is in good shape, stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The 2 patios with views of the ocean are really great. The only negative has nothing to do with the owner or unit we rented - but the Jacuzzi was not operational (not heated).

Mexico and Costa Bella, are not the most organized locations on earth, that's for sure, but I think that's part of the charm of Mexico.

EXCELLENT Family Stay at Rosarito!

This property is absolutely great. The owner is as hands-on or hands-off as you want him to be with your experience. Everything in the instruction email was very clearly stated and we had no problems getting in, the guards are actually very nice. The kitchen is very well equipped and the neighbors are very friendly. The pool seems to not be used often, so we had it all to ourselves whenever we went down. We did not find any direct access to the beach, however, the view is amazing and totally worth it! There is no key/access to the elevator, which totally did not cross my mind until we were trying to bring up our luggage and groceries and had to make multiple trips up several flights of stairs.

Great weekend getaway!

My fiance and I drove down from San Diego for a weekend vacation and had such a wonderful stay at Costa Bella! The entry guards are very friendly and were helpful in getting directions/recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the inside of the condo was! It has a gorgeous view of the ocean, and overlooking the pool, with a very large patio, where you can relax out on the patio furniture, BBQ, and eat on the patio. And the Master Bedroom has an entry point to the patio as well. The Master Bedroom was amazing! A really comfortable memory-foam bed, a nice size jacuzzi tub with jets, and a really nice shower! The floorplan of the condo has an "open feel" to it and the kitchen was great. Has all the ammenities that you need for cooking/baking/BBQing. The condo is only about 7km away from Puerto Nuevo where you can eat some great lobster! And about 10 minutes away from the center of Rosarito. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone, including couples and families. Can't wait for our next trip down!

So the trip to this property was pretty cool. It was very difficult to find the property because the address that was given was incorrect. When we finally got to the property it was bigger than we thought. The only thing was is that the 3rd bedroom was not a full regular bedroom. The 3rd bedroom had no doors.

Not for families

I have stayed at this property a few times but unfortunately this will be our last. The site has new management and it is not friendly towards people renting. It feels like a community that does NOT want outsiders on the property. This unit is nice however NO INTERNET..........

Hello Michelle, the new management was getting a bit strict after their recent election, but is slowly realizing that they have gone too far. Hopefully they will continue to loosen their regulations. Reliable internet in Mexico is not an easy attainment, I am aware of the need for internet and am continually looking into getting the service.

Nice place but

This place has nice views and a nice pool where you can cook out. However, you can't make much noise at all. Took my kids to the pool for a little swimming and listening to music. We weren't too load and it wasn't a party but we were told to be quite and lower the music several times until I got pissed and told them #@&$%. Too many retired people. I guess if you want total silence it is the place to stay.

Great views nice place nice owner

The place and location are nice and the views are amazing. We had small kids (1 and 5 years old) and they enjoyed the pool. The house is nice, the owner is responsive and accommodating. We will be back at some point. The only advise I give to people traveling with small kids: Keep an eye on your small kids at all times if you want to have the sliding doors open, since the balconies could be dangerous for a small kid (condo is in the 4th floor), also, bring DVDs for small kids. The house has a lot of movies choices, but for teenagers and adults, not for little kids. We enjoyed our stay, it was close to town and Puerto Nuevo (restaurants and little shops). The security is really nice, the guards were extremely nice and you feel safe in the complex. They did not charge us for parking as some people mentioned in their review, we were told it will depend on the parking lot availability so we were lucky. Overall a good experience.

Amazing views, sounds of the crashing waves very relaxing, property itself was great!

The view was simply amazing the home had everything needed for a stress free get away. Property in great location Uber is the way to go. The sounds of the waves were relaxing. Access to the beach was an adventure but a short stroll. The home was very roomy and pleasant needs a little TLC other then that my family enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you to the owner his instructions and prompt response on our questions and request were on point. Open communication when traveling is a plus.

Property has nice grounds and views

The property is decent. We thought we could do without wifi but after 2nd day kids were not happy. The TVs did not have local channels or cable therefore kiddos were bored being indoors. If the condo had a little more TLC, working ceiling fans and minor refresh paint job this would be a nicer place to stay.

Thank you for your stay, my place is not advertised with WiFi, due to the inconsistent WiFi service we have experienced in the building. Mexico is far behind the US as far as connectivity in the residential side. We are on hold to provide reliable service to the unit.

Great location, Great facilities

I could have stayed on the premises much more of the time we were there except that we were so close to so many places that were great to visit. The condo was right on the beach; we walked down to the sand and rocks and walked a few hundred yards north where I found a young man with an extra boogie board and some fins and had a great time in the water. Then bought and ate some fresh muscles and vegeis at the stand up on the bluff for pre-breakfast stack then off to Gary's La Fonda's and thereafter the Blow Hole. The condo was great to come back to and relax, caught the jacuzzi about 5 and swam a dozen laps in the full size pool. Kitchen accommodations were fine, and fell asleep to the soothing sound of the waves breaking. That was Saturday. Sunday went to the Wine country. Each day started and finished the day with a swim in the pool;. The place was great. George

AMAZING VIEW

We had an amazing stay with family and friends. Definitely recommended! it has everything you need from blankets, to towels to kitchen needs. Really clean. I loved that it was a gated community because it made us feel really safe. The view from both balconies is breathtaking and amazing to wake up to in the mornings! Highly recommended

Nice Mexican escape

Great location right on the water and in a safe gated complex. Security guards were very friendly and helpful, even called us cabs one night. Quick 10 minute drive to downtown Rosarito and short drive to Puerto Nuevo with great restaurants. Owner was prompt in the communication and provided good directions. The place itself is nice with 2 balcony's but there were some drawbacks. The 3rd room with 2 beds isn't so much of a room, more of an office it seems as there isn't a door (just an opening in the wall). Also there is no internet (which I didn't realize), supposedly there is a neighbor's wifi that can be used but they changed the password so we had no internet at all from the house which was a big inconvenience. The biggest letdown was the hot tub wasn't working... which was one of the main draws in coming here over New Years. It's not the owner's fault that it was broken but considering it had been broken for a while this property should not be advertised with a hot tub.

Thanks for your stay. Residential Jaccuzis in Mexico run off of propane tanks and are not the most reliable. My place is not advertised with wifi. The place is set-up for maximum sleeping arrangements, which is what family vacationers are looking for. It appears that you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Rosarito vacation

I was really looking forward to have a confortable stay at the place I rented, but I was kind of disappointed for the lack of attention to the place by the owne I found a few problems with the property and email the owner about the issues he did not seem to care much about it in fact made me believe he didn't want to be bother and wanted me to make arrengments for the repairs it third parties.I wouldn't stay in this place again.I wouldn't recommended for the price unless they bring it down to 1/2 what I paid. My friend rented an other penthouse in the same property with six four bathrooms ,plasma TVs wifi and cable for the same price but more daysI'll try that next time.

You rented a place, during Christmas, and I was very clear to you that I was going to be out of touch and on vacation. You were given a phone number to call if you had immediate needs, which to my understanding you did not. You rented someone's personal condo, and were not staying at a hotel with around the clock service, hence the huge discount to a hotel stay, so your expectations need to be in-line with the cost of your stay.

Thanksgiving in Rosarito

We stayed at this condo over the thanksgiving holiday and overall had a great time. The views from the balconies are great, the grounds were very secure, and it is in a pretty a good location with lots of other hotels to go to for some activity. Seems like there are a lot of owners at Costa Bell, as opposed to vacationers, as it seemed very dead - so if you are looking for limited activity this is your place. When we checked in with the guard he told us that we could not use the rec room or gym as it is only to be used by owners - which was definitely news to us! There were a few bummer's with one of the biggest being that the hot tub was not heated. When we asked the groundskeeper he said there was no propane. The room with the two double beds doesn't have a door, which isn't ideal when you are sharing the condo with friends. The upstairs bathroom toilet leaked water to the extent that we had to put a cup next to it to catch the excess. Both DVD players in the two bedrooms were busted and not working. There was no outside light on the balcony which is definitely needed. Also, the owner let me know day of that the oven was broken in the unit - good thing we weren't planning on cooking thanksgiving dinner there! We had a great time despite these things, but would hope they would get addressed for the next user!

Hello Kelly, I'm sorry that some of the amenities were not operating. Mexico runs on propane tanks, and Jacuzzis not operating all the time is a norm. Having an ocean front place requires a lot more maintenance than usual, so the bulbs were actually less than 2 month old. I am sending a repairman down this weekend to address those issues. Owner only amenities were not advertised with the listing. Thanks for your stay.

Beautiful condo, very big, gorgeous views from two large patios, clean, safe. Great place, will return.
