We had a problem with the showers the handle fell off when the shower was turned on no wash cloths there was nothing to put on the floor when you got out of the shower l had to wipe out the refrigerator

We’ve taken that to heart and will be adding bath mats to the apartment to improve comfort and safety for future guests. The location of this property is perfect. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to downtown. There was one issue but the host did their best to fix it in a timely manner. The property is not as spotless as the pictures. It is an older building, so things are just a bit worn down compared to the pictures. But the beds are comfortable and each room has an air conditioner, so it fulfilled our needs.

Property was convenient to everything and was very spacious compared to a hotel room. Parking was interesting as there were some tight spots if all apartments were rented and driving a truck or full size SUV. Apartment was older and worn but it was clean. Bathrooms were tight and water went all over the floor when taking a shower. Window air conditioner in every room so stayed very cool in July.

My family and I found that the only pro about this stay is the location. There was mold in the coffee maker. There was absolutely no water pressure in the showers. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged. There was practically no light to go up and down the stairs that are in need of repair. And the "easy parking" for a stay that can sleep 6 guests only allows for one car. So if you're traveling with others, be prepared to have to fight for a spot amongst the other apartment building guests, or park in the street (only available during summer). There were 6 units and 5 parking spaces.Oh, and they'll want you to load the dishwasher before you leave, but there is no dishwasher...

Do not stay here. Uncomfortable, unclean, and safety violations

My family rented this apartment to spend the weekend in Lake Placid for my father’s funeral. The apartment had mildew in the bathrooms, we found a bed bug crawling on the bed, the iron ruined my dress for the funeral, the AC was obnoxiously loud and barely cooled the apartment, there were safety violations including a broken electrical outlet and duct taped together window, and the walls are so thin you could hear the neighbors upstairs and next door. We were so uncomfortable in this place we couldn’t sleep. When I brought these issues to the host’s attention the host accused me of fake accusations. The host is taking advantage of guests and the apartment is not fit to be listed on VRBO. I would never stay here again and I warn others not to stay here either.

Judy,. You bought these claims up on your last day to get a refund. If any of these concerns were true why didn’t you leave the day you arrived. So You made false allegations on my apartment and now leaving a poor review because I went to the apartment to talk with you and check the apartment. You fabricated a blood stain to say it was a bug (I have photos) As I mentioned in our messages - I can’t control the neighbors talking and walking
