Perfekt gelegen am 'Blackfish Creek', benannt nach den Walen, die um Cape Cod herum bekannt sind, ist dieses Haus für alle Angebote von Wellfleet und Cape Cod zugänglich! Drei Wohnbereiche, darunter ein großer Wintergarten mit Blick auf den Sumpf, ein gemütlicher Medienraum für Filmnacht und ein formelles Wohnzimmer mit originalem Kiefernholzboden und einer Backsteinwand. Central location

This is an older, well maintained property with a great backyard view. It is centrally located, on route 6. It is managed my Del Mar rentals. My family and I enjoyed staying there. Drawbacks included the early 9am checkout time and it is right off Route 6, so thre is some traffic noise in the front rooms. These were not deals breakers for us.

Charming, comfortable home!!

My family and I had an awesome week calling this our home. Gorgeous nightly sunsets, awesome outdoor shower, proximity to bike trails and lots of interesting rooms made this a perfect getaway. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking the perfect lobster dinner, and washer/dryer is conveniently located right off the kitchen. We'll definitely rent this again!!

This house is in a beautiful setting with views out over an expansive marsh and great sunsets. The house is well equipped and comfortable as well as containing many lovely spots in which to relax alone or with family/friends. I hope to return at some point.

outer cape idyll

the house is surprisingly spacious and well appointed, especially on the upper floor. there is ample outdoor space, and a splendid view of Blackfish Creek. you will hear a hum of cars from nearby Rte 6 but you won't care. Management company was pleasant, efficient, and super helpful.

Great vacation

We had a really great vacation. House is great for families. A lot of separate spaces for everyone to sleep and have alone time. View of creek is amazing and we had a breath taking sunset to enjoy. Yard is great for dogs/kids/swinging in the hammock. Love the location. Bike path Easy to jump on for a ride or a run! Don’t remember hearing rt 6 at all. Would definitely return again!!

Picturesque Weekend Retreat!

This hideaway on Route 6 with breathtaking views was exactly what we needed! Such a beautiful yard, views, and the house had plenty of privacy. Watching the sunset from the upstairs deck was just incredible. Great location and easily accessible to downtown Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown, and nearby beaches. The only drawback was visibility from Route 6 - drove by it a few times! But that was not a big deal at all. The dogs loved running around in the back yard and we had a peaceful and relaxing stay here. We will definitely be back with family and friends.

Owner was living in the house right next door and had landscape work done while we were there trying to enjoy our vacation. She was very polite but I always felt a little uneasy as I would have preferred a little more privacy. If this doesn't bother you then it's a great place, great spot.

Fabulous View Getaway

My family took my 84 year old aunt away from Boston for a few days to celebrate her 85th birthday and we had an amazing relaxing time. The house way better than the photos. The outdoor space was gorgeous with perfect views. The house itself had lots of different spaces if we needed quiet time away from the others. Very convenient location. The address number sign on the highway was very small and hidden behind overgrown plants, so it was hard to find originally, but that can easily be fixed and should not take away from renting this awesome old quaint and charming home. GPS saved the day there. Would definitely come back! Thank you !

A little too dated, plumbing issues not addressed during stay

Over priced for a somewhat charming, but very dated house that needs a lot of repair. Garage / shed behind house looks like they are about to fall down. I reported a significant toilet/sink leak at the beginning of our week and it was never dealt with (I called 3 times). Rental is not through owners, but a 3rd party (DelMar) and I would not rent from them again.

South Wellfleet House

We enjoyed our stay in this house very much. Despite the proximity of Rte. 6, we got used to the noise very quickly, and actually forgot about it. The grounds are lovely - especially the large backyard overlooking the marsh. Sunset was glorious. There are some issues with the architecture where there are several internal steps that are not necessarily that visible, and could cause falling for folks with balance or vision issues. If they were marked with highly visible tape, that would improve the safety. Additionally, the owner might want to pick up some of the scatter rugs which also can be a falling risk. But other than those two concerns, it is a lovely house.

Beautiful, large house by beaches

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. There was plenty of room for my group of four adults and two children. Even though it is off of the highway it was very quiet. The sunset over the marsh was lovely. Everything was near by. I loved the outdoor shower. We will stay again.

I stayed here with family and friends and we all enjoyed it very much. It is an older home, so if you are ok with that it is charming. Also very spacious. The views are amazing! The location is right off of route 6, and although you can hear traffic it didn't bother any of us. Short ride to beaches, restaurants, and Wellfleet center.

Nice property. Beautiful backyard overlooking the marsh. Good location. Plenty of room for people to spread out. Great amenities with air conditioning dish washer and the best of all washer and dryer.
