Anchorage Aweigh is an exquisite two bedroom villa overlooking Coral Bay harbor. The villa boasts a centrally located pool and large pool deck with picturesque views of Coral Bay, St John.

From the living room, the pool and lower bedroom are accessed through an indoor set of stairs.

Coral Bay is located on the quiet, mellow side of St. John. A 2-minute drive down the hill will bring you to a variety of shopping, restaurant and entertainment options. Beaches and the National Park hiking trails can all be found a short distance away.

Adjacent to the main house, yet completely separate, is a cottage. It is a one-bedroom unit where the owners stays, just a few weeks out of the year. The main house and cottage were designed with privacy in mind. As you can see in the photographs, both houses face in different directions.

**When booking- rates are based on how many guests you have. If you have two people, you will have access to the top floor bedroom. Three or four people will give you access to the 2nd bedroom. If your occupancy is "2," the lower level bedroom will be locked during your stay. If the second bedroom is required for two people, additional rates apply.

The perfect villa! An amazing 180 view of beautiful Coral bay for morning breakfast! Stocked high end kitchen with everything you need. The bed slept wonderfully with an AC that cooled everything down perfectly. Easy access to shops and great places to eat like the shrimp at Surf Club and ribeye sandwich and trivia at Johnny Lime. And a top notch host that quickly responded to all of our needs! We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Lots of space and convenient to hiking and beaches.

We had a terrific stay. It was perfect for my husband and daughter. The drive up to the house takes skill, but you get used to it. So cool seeing goats and chickens around. The description of the listing is very accurate and the Emma the host was very responsive. Skinny Legs, scraggy and Johnny lime very close by.

2nd Stay with Anchorage Aweigh

This is our second time staying at Achorage Aweigh. It would have been our 3rd if a hurricane hadn’t come through in Oct 2023. The home is lovely, the owner is responsive and accommodating, and the location can’t be beat. Windspree now manages the property and they do a great job. Check in/out was easy. The home has all the basic amenities that you need. I do think the home could have been cleaned a little better, but I relayed that to the property manager and they were very responsive. We would stay here again!

Anchors Aweigh!

We enjoyed our stay and had fantastic weather throughout the week! Our group of four adults had very comfortable sleeping arrangements - both bedrooms had brand new king size beds and linens! Good communication from owners and property management company to ensure our checkin and checkout went smoothly. We arrived later in evening and received texts to ensure we got in ok. We became very good at getting up and down the steep driveway during the week. Strongly recommend four wheel drive vehicle to get around all of St John’s.

Great place to stay!

Ancorage Away has been the best place we have stayed while visiting STJ. The pool was fabulous to have in August, we would come home after a morning of snorkeling and exploring to cool off and relax. Slept so well, the beds were very comfortable and air conditioning kept us cool.

This is an unbelievably beautiful property with million dollar views, a pool, and some of the worlds most beautiful beaches nearby. Overlooking Coral Bay with some really fun places to eat and food shopping. Our host David was fantastic and friendly and the property manager Kara was so nice and very helpful.

Can't wait to go back!

The house was exactly as described, clean with amazing views and in a perfect location. We were close to restaurants and grocery but yet it was a super private location. A beautiful home with all amenities of home along with a gorgeous view and wonderful pool.

Such a great place to rent for a week. We rented Oct 26, 2024 - Nov 1, 2024. Rented a car from St Thomas, took the ferry over to St John. We had an unusual week of esrain and still had a great time. The view over Coral Bay beats any restaurant view, so we utilized the kitchen all week except for 3-4 times. Highly recommended!!!💕
