Das ist unser schönes Zuhause auf Marthas Vineyard wir Shangri-La nennen! Spektakulärer Rahmen mit einer großartigen friedlichen Ansicht, die Sengekontacket-Teich mit dem Ozean jenseits übersieht. Das Anwesen verfügt über einen gemeinsamen Pool, Tennisplätze und ein Dock. Unser Haus liegt auf halbem Weg zwischen den Oak Bluffs & Town Stadtzentren.
Wenn die Präsidenten der Vineyard besuchen, ist dies der Bereich sie kommen zu entspannen (bei Farm Neck Golf Club, die gleich die Straße entlang ist). Das Anwesen mit Blick auf den Felix Neck Wildlife Preserve.

Excellent visit

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home that overlooks an inlet in a natural setting. The home is well stocked with the essentials and very comfortable. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. 5 stars!

Oak bluffs condo

Nice location. Comfortable property but downstairs is musty smelling and dehumidifier is running constantly. Owner is very easy to work with.

Thanks for the feedback. Due to the close proximity to the ocean on a rare occasion the lower level can become humid after a severe rainstorm during the summer months. We have found that any odor is easily remedied by opening the sliding glass doors or windows or running the dehumidifier for a half hour (which is manually controlled). We are also scheduling HVAC equipment upgrades in the off season to better control humidity at the lower level so any humidity or odor issues should be eliminated in the future.

Beautiful condo and views!

Condo was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Deck overlooking breathtaking views with lovely Adirondack swivel/rocking chairs and table to enjoy your meals. We watched sunrises and sunsets from deck. Fully equipped kitchen. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We had beautiful weather the week we stayed and look forward to staying here next year.

Great Family Getaway

It was a pleasure to rent this home. As a family of 5 there was plenty of room to spread out. Furnishings were very comfortable and home is equipped with everything we needed. The water view was a real treat. Spent a lot of time on the deck. Pool and tennis courts were well maintained. Owner was always responsive and helpful.

This condo was very comfortable for our family of seven. Our grandkids LOVED the pool!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The view from the patio was wonderful. We spent much time out there having dinner and often just relaxing. The area is beautifully landscaped and very quiet. The kids loved riding their bikes around the neighborhood and walking along the boardwalk to the pond. The pool was a hit for all of us! This home is conviently located between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown.

Pros and cons

The property manager has been quick to repond to any queries we had and was very accommodating of our requests. The property is located between Edgartown and oak Bluffs with quick 10 min commute by car. Having the bikes available at the house made it easy for us to explore. However the house can comfortably sleep only 8 people due to the size of the beds. Even with two people sleeping on the couch we didn't have enough room for our party of 12.

We were happy to be able to accommodate the guest on a last minute request. We were surprised to learn of their comments about the sleeping accommodations as available beds are clearly identified on our listing with floor plans illustrating them. Sleeping accommodations are as follows: Queen (2 people); 2 Twins (2 people); 2 Doubles (1-2 people = 2-4 people); 2 Pull out Couches 2 x 2 people = (4 people); Total 10-12 people. In addition to this capacity there are also some blow up mattresses (for kids). For many years we have had many large groups of 10-12 people without any complaints. We were sorry that the house didn't quite match up to the guest's expectations. We encourage future renters to make sure they are comfortable with the sleeping arrangements before booking.

Hiding out in Hidden Cove

Longtime Vineyarders trying something new this weird year, a charming contemporary condo in a lovely community hiding in plain sight. Great location, easy access to everything, no problems with the unit or amenities. Happy to recommend and may well return.

Hidden cove delight

This home in Hidden Cove offers many advantages for exploring Martha"s Vineyard. The property has wonderful views of the marshlands across to the sea in the distance.- a birdwatcher's heaven. The gardens are beautiful and there is a pool and tennis courts. It is well located for everything and the host provides lots of information. We enjoyed our family reunion very much.

The property location is tremendous. When we went looking for a house on Martha's Vineyard we traveled every inch of the island looking for the right combination of privacy, convenience & beauty. Once we stepped foot on this property we knew instantly that we had found our home! As nothing was for sale at the time we waited for a unit to come on the market - that's how convinced we were that this was the place for us and we now know that it has been well worth the wait! It has everything you would ever need and is one of our favorite places any time of the year to come to as it never disappoints!

As they say in real estate location is everything. Hillside Homes is situated in a private neighborhood development of 80 homes bordering Sengekontacket Pond & Majors Cove which offers beautiful views and recreational opportunities. The neighborhood has Tennis Courts and a Dock (handy for kayaking). Hillside Homes consists of 16 townhouse units and has an on site private Pool for the enjoyment of its residents. The property is very conveniently located midway between historic Oak Bluffs and Edgartown town centers which are both a 5 minute ride away (you can even get the bus which conveniently stops out front of our neighborhood if you don't want to drive or use our bikes). Nature is everywhere around us. The property borders conservation areas and a nature preserve which is great for walking. We even have our own Osprey Nest. This is about as close as you can get to heaven (no kidding LoL). We pinch ourselves how lucky we are to be able to come and enjoy this special place where many great memories have been made with family and friends...
