It’s all about island-style ease in this 818sf villa with views of the fountain pond and channels between neighboring islands. Cook meals in the kitchen to enjoy on the lanai. Other homey comforts include a washer/dryer, air conditioning, DVD, WiFi and ceiling fans. Sleeps 4 in 1 Queen and 1 Sofa bed.

On 15 tropical acres across from Kamaole Beach Park III, our suites feature full kitchens and washers/dryers. Stay active with tennis courts, swimming pool, jet spas, barbecue grills and weekly Mai Tai party.

Few supplies and key items broken

Although this unit had a great view of the ocean, everything else failed miserably. There were absolutely no supplies in the kitchen: saran wrap, Pam, the basics of supplies. Although it was a beach front property, there was not one beach towel. Extremely frustrating was the umbrella which had every single prong broken on it. It was virtually useless. However we didn’t know that till we hauled it down to the beach. Further, this is a unit that sleeps four and there were only two beach chairs. Not one extra pillow and no blankets. Essentially, everything failed to measure up in the simplest of ways in this condominium.

Aloha Sarah I am sorry we did not provide beach towel, working umbrella and enough beach chairs and condiments to you on arrival. I know the pillows and blankets are in the bedroom closet usually. Horrific - Avoid this unit at ANY COST - DISGUSTING

First Off: Kamaole Sands is a fantastic place, the amenities are great. The UNIT itself was by far the worst place I have stayed in my last 20+ years of visiting Hawaii. Specifically: The good: The ground floor unit was fantastic for allowing my 5 year old to go out the door and play on the huge, healthy and well manicured lawn. The bad: -The unit is located immediately adjacent to the garbage, stairwell and elevator. That means that when you are in bed you hear every stairwell door open/close, elevator ding every time the doors opens, the garbage truck pickup (early AM multiple times per week) is also blasting into your BR. -WiFi/Cell in bedroom is terrible. Because the stair well and elevator shaft are huge and concrete they block the cell signals. The WiFi comes from the front of the unit and does not reach the BR. - The unit is very old, very tired and disgusting. --The cloth couch is gross, has stains, smells and looks as if it has never been cleaned. The fold-out frame is a non-starter for an adult because the metal bars are all you really feel. -- The carpet is fraying and peeling back at every carpet/tile joint. Both my wife and son poked their feet on the exposed carpet tacks. --The carpet is raunchy, it was well vacuumed by the cleaning staff but the carpet itself was stained in the living room and bedroom -- The bedroom dresser drawer fell apart when we pulled it open. (We contacted the owners rep through VRBO, another fail, nothing we mentioned got fixed). --Dishwasher door was falling apart every time we opened the door. -- The unit has a complete mishmash of supplies, miss-matched silverware, 3 coffee cups, 6 tea cup saucers... no tea cups. The pool only allows plastics cups.... not a single plastic cup in the unit (We went to Walmart, bought three cups and left them there as a gift). --Cracks in the master bath sink and tub (rusting). --The vacuum did not have a vacuum bag and we were not able to clean the unit while we were there (2 weeks). -- No glass / cleaners available for the glass eating tables. -Not a single pot holder and nothing to scrub a pot - Not a stitch of supplies (e.g. no salt / pepper...we did leave some there) - The communication with the owners via VRBO was also terrible. We were set for a Wed check in. On Mon I started asking about the check in process. No answer, Tues another message, no response, Wed while we were traveling another message. Finally a response at check in time.

Our favorite condo complex, but....

This is our favorite condo complex on Maui and our favorite building. However, this particular unit was disappointingly shabby: bathtub scoured through the finish, carpet raveling, sleeper sofa mattress so thin to be unusable. The kitchen was poorly equipped. I felt the price was inflated for the condition of the unit.

Beautiful resort and location...needs serious updating

The location is ideal. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained. All furniture inside and on lanai is very old and uncomfortable in need of replacement. The carpet also needs to be replaced with tile. Could use AC in bedroom. Bare minimum in kitchen. Would not stay again.

Walk Out Patio

Location was wonderful. our criteria was: ground floor walk out and we were fortunate to get it. The condo was a little dated and could use a freshen up. Very clean and spacious. Nothing left for our use like: teabags, cooking oil, sugar, bar b q utensils (we borrowed, other guests had them) We could walk to our favourite coffee spot, restaurants, and of course beach.

Unfair price for run down condo

Broken blinds in bedroom Under mattress disguising 3 foam mats Bathtub old & disgusting Garbarator doesn’t work Dishwasher wheel off lower rack & sounds like it will come out of wall No spatula or tongs for kitchen use, only bbq size Umbrella broken. When we pay the price to rent this property,as you Request, we expect a unit to be in proper repaired, everything working & at the least a good mattress. Shocking the owners & condo board allows this unit to continue to be rented in this kind of shape.
