We had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, with a great atmosphere and a unique charm that made our visit very enjoyable. The house is older, and the bathrooms and showers reflect that, but everything was functional. Overall, the positive aspects far outweighed the age of the home. We really enjoyed the vibe of the place and would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property and the house were absolutely beautiful. We were in Estes Park for a wedding and it was an easy 10-15 minute drive to the venue and all the other great spots we visited! Everything was clean and tidy, the host was easy to reach when we needed them, and everything worked out throughout the weekend.

Wonderful house in mountains. Close to Estes village. Close to supermarket. Host was very responsive and very helpful. Our extended family with 6 littles had a fabulous week. Great access to RMNP yet lots of privacy with great views. Very happy with our stay!

Overall, the house was perfect! It was the perfect size for our 2 families, and close to Estes Park and everything we wanted to do in the area! I do want to mention that there was a small water leak in the basement by one of the lights. I notified the owner about it, and he was quick to respond to get it fixed. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall good house. Great room layout for large group. Many bathrooms and lots of towels. Well stocked kitchen. Great yard. Best location. Really fun humming birds on bad patio. Fun games for kids.House is older and has some maintenance issues. Several windows don’t work (house has no AC so windows are important). Back deck has loose board, and not great for kids. Dishwasher and dryer did not work well. We contacted the owner and they did send a maintenance guy, but they needed to order some parts, so things were not fixed while we were there. When we arrived there were wet towel in the dryer and many dirty dishes/silverwear in the kitchen. Most things we wanted to use had to be washed before we could use it.Even with the issues we would stay there again.

A new washer and dryer have been installed and we have had all the windows inspected and are fully functional. We have addressed the concerns you raised regarding the wet laundry and dirty dishes found at the beginning of your stay, and have taken steps to ensure the issue does not recur. Well we’d really rather not tell you how awesome this home is in case we can’t reserve it next time, but OK, I guess to be fair we’ll tell you. The whole week we kept marveling at how lucky we were to find this home for our family get-together. It was the perfect venue for our Estes Park stay. The home has everything we could have needed, with plenty of space for the whole crew, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms with plenty of quality towels, extremely well-equipped kitchen, and a meadow-enhanced, perfectly-framed view towards Longs Peak and Estes Park – the Colorado Country feel we wished for, yet less than 10 minutes’ drive to Safeway to stock up. Elk and deer would pass through the meadow while the hummingbirds delighted us with regular visits to their feeders by the sunny deck. The kitchen-dining-common room was just what we sought, where neither the cooks nor early eaters nor living-room-chatters missed out on the togetherness, yet the downstairs rec room provided get-away space for kids or business calls. The interior wood trim, vaulted wood ceiling, beautiful moss-rock fireplace, gorgeous solid acacia wood floors and leather couches provide a cozy natural quality so complementary to the beautiful setting. We didn’t need the handy, cozy blankets generously provided for snuggling, as we were blessed with terrific weather.Jacob and Erin were very responsive to queries. They have done an impressive job in providing for their guests and we felt privileged to be there.

The layout was perfect for our large family as it allowed us to spread out but yet spend great family time together in the living room. The deck was perfect for early morning coffee and the views were amazing. Plenty of wildlife was also close by.
