At approximately 11:00 p.m., you informed me that a smoke detector was going off and asked whether I had a step stool and replacement batteries available. I advised you that those items were located in the garage. After opening the smoke detector, you stated that the battery did not fit. I then informed you that the appropriate batteries could be purchased from the gas station across the street and that I would reimburse any cost. After the battery was replaced, the trouble alarm was activated, which then caused the full alarm system to sound. From approximately 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., I remained available and actively assisted by contacting ADT, calling you, and continuing to troubleshoot the issue. During that time, I offered multiple times to send my local maintenance technician to the property to resolve the issue in person. That offer was not accepted, so I continued assisting remotely. After about an hour of troubleshooting, I advised that the best next step would be to contact ADT directly for further support. This occurred on Friday evening. On Sunday, the day of checkout, I was informed that all four smoke detector units had been removed, including the bases, leaving exposed wiring.
