Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful guest suite. For guests wanting information for their pets, there is a small fenced area for potty trips that has about a 3ft tall fence and gate, perfect for supervised small to medium dogs to go out and back in. Parking is right outside the door and easy to access. The suite is attached to the main house but is very private with fun and functional decor and a fully private small deck. One night we stayed the coyotes were VERY loud and I worried about their chickens but was relieved when I heard the rooster crowing in the morning, everyone was OK!

We were looking for a place that was removed from the hustle of a city- a place where we could have access to nature. We wanted something cozy, artsy, and down to earth. This bungalow delivered beyond our expectations. There was art all around the property and the bungalow decorated in good part by local artists. Perfect for two people. we enjoyed the quaint deck off the kitchen where we had morning coffee and watched the sun come up over the mountains. We could hear the nearby Kaweah river rushing over the rocks. It fit our artsy, earthy vibe more than we could have hoped for. Terry and Noelle were amazing hosts and lead us towards all things we wanted to experience. This really cool place is just a few miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Park which was the reason we chose this destination. If you love cozy and off the path, we recommend this lovely bungalow.

This bungalow is the definition of quirky and convenient. From the decor, the location, and the owner it is the perfect place to stay when traveling into sequoia national park. Easy to get into, parking right at the front of the door, and plenty of space to spread out. We were able to make breakfast and prepare lunch in the bungalow before heading out to the park. there was nothing we needed that was not provided for us. Easy access to the road, quiet neighborhood, and great hosts.

I did my research and even reached out to Terrance before booking with any questions. He quickly responded. We had a great time and everything was exactly as pictured and described. The place was clean, hosts were welcoming and friendly. Parking was fine. They are pet friendly, even though we didn’t bring our own pets.

Came to San Diego for a week and decided to take a side trip to Sequoia National Park. This place was perfect for what we needed, a clean place close to the park to shower and sleep. It is literally ten minutes away from the park entrance, in a beautiful area that overlooks the park from the roof top deck.

Had a great stay with Terry and Noel. They were very accommodating host. The place was very cozy and comfortable, clean and functional. The kitchen had everything I needed and I loved the outside deck for an evening drink. Breakfast was wonderful out in the table in front in the shade under the trees. The place just had a peaceful wonderful vibe, very comfortable. Everything you need.

Will definitely stay again some time! Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating! They even kept an eye on our senior pup and gave her her mid day medication while we hiked during the day! Very kind and welcoming people! The Bungalow was adorable and super cozy with beautiful views of the mountains!

Had THE BEST stay in the bungalow. I was looking for somewhere close to the park that was also dog friendly and couldn’t have been more happy to have found this awesome family. It was clean and so comfortable and as soon as we got there Terry was kind enough to preheat the place, as it was pretty chilly out. It was spacious and had everything we needed and more. My Paco was welcomed by their two fur babies as well, it was the cutest thing. They shared eggs from their chickens and let us know of some great spots to check out. My favorite part was having breakfast out on their deck each morning, their view is BEAUTIFUL and being able to let Paco come hang out too with a dog run on the side of the bungalow was great. I was looking for a quiet, chill weekend and they provided just that; you could hear the river from their place too, it was so nice. I would recommend Terry and Noelle’s spot to any of my friends and family. I hope to visit again soon!

Relaxing Anniversary trip.

Hidden Gem! Very welcoming! Lovely property with plenty of art around to enjoy. Greeted by their dogs as well. Loved listening to the river, also we had our own view of the river too! They provided us with basic cooking tools, soap, dvds, and games. They have an upper deck with beautiful lights and great sound system all you need to do is ask. We enjoyed listening to music with the owners. Lovely people who just their guest to enjoy their time! Even our cat loved the area! She didn’t want to leave. Thank you Terry and Noelle for your kindness!

We called this place 'Garage Sale Rustic'. First, the location is great - just outside Sequoia Park and off the main road. Slick Rock Recreation Area is a short drive, and there's a good market and several restaurants in Three Rivers. We went there every day. It was very dog friendly. The host was on site, friendly and helpful. But the place is not a bungalow; it's attached to a main house, with a separate entrance. It's a 'non-conforming' space.The 'living room' is adequate, but the bed is just next to the kitchen, not in a separate room, very high and hard to get into. There's a couch, but no comfortable chairs. We brought in the patio chairs from the deck.The AC, which we were assured was adequate, only cooled the living room. The host's two dogs were let out at night and kept us awake barking. However, the host was accommodating, provided fans, which helped, and kept the dogs in after we complained. The kitchen is small, but thoughtfully arranged and well stocked. There is a small deck and enclosed space where our dog could be outside and patio furniture outside the font door.

Our home is actually a home to many Burning Man works of Art….some seem to see it as remnants of a Garage Sale. The Bungalow isn’t attached to our main house, though it sits under the upper deck. It also fits the definition of a Bungalow; small footprint, open floor plan, and small. Also anyone using a AC unit should know that setting an AC unit to 65’ or lower risks freezing up the system; ie….that is what happened here. These are the first guests in over a 100 guests that have had problems with the AC. Our dogs serve a purpose on our property and that is too warn us about bears and other predators. They do an excellent job. One last point… long reviews traditionally reveal themselves as petty reviews. I wish there was a way to weed out uptight tourist before we rent to them…

Communication with the hosts was quick and easy, check in was very simple. The bungalow was hot, but after a bit of working with the AC and fans, we got it to a nice temp inside. There were a few bugs to be expected as it was out of the way and up the mountain. Coming in late at night in the dark, however was a little confusing as it wasn't mentioned the bungalow was attached to the main house. We had all we needed for a quick stay, and we will be back to take in the quiet and beauty the mountain has to offer!

Air conditioning was substandard (a mini-split wall mounted): supplemented with a fan; however, no cool air reached the bathroom or kitchen.Tub had a slow drain and the toilet was not securely bolted to the floor. Finally, the supply lines to the kitchen sink were reversed--this owner is NOT a plumber!!Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit and the proximity to the park was outstanding!!

The mini split is perfect for the Bungalow. Actually bigger than needed. The only way any AC has problems is when you try and force it to work too hard, ie… setting it at 61, when you should set it to 70’. Rookie mistake I’m sure… No I’m not a plumber! Also you left our toilet a horrible mess. I almost had to put on personal protective gear. Thanks for your stay though.
