Willkommen im "River Retreat House" im wunderschönen Three Rivers. Das Haus ist wunderschön. Schöne Möbel aus den Sofas, Tischen, Betten, Stühlen, Terrassenmöbeln. Alle modernen Oberflächen und neue Holzböden. Wir sind ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Eingang des Sequoia-Nationalparks.

Kommen Sie und entspannen Sie sich auf zwei Decks am South Fork Kaweah River. Genießen Sie das wunderschön angelegte Grundstück mit atemberaubender Felsarbeit. Setzen Sie sich um die Propan-Feuerstelle und kochen Sie Gerüche. Kochen Sie draußen mit dem Propangrill. Alle Annehmlichkeiten - LED-Fernseher, Satellitenkabel, WiFi, schnurloses Telefon, Blu-Ray-Player. Wir sind nur 20 Minuten von den fantastischen Trails am Ende der South Fork entfernt (wie Lady Bug Trails).

Das Anwesen verfügt über eigene schöne Wanderwege. Es ist so üppig und grün.

Als wir mit dem Umbau der Hütte "Romantic River Retreat" begannen, waren wir sehr stolz darauf, sie zu etwas Besonderem zu machen. Wir haben nicht nur die Zedernholzverkleidung übermalt, sondern sie auch akribisch befleckt. Wir haben uns die Zeit genommen, etwas Besonderes in der Unterkunft zusammenzustellen, damit Sie sich in einer neu renovierten Unterkunft am Fluss sicher, sauber, komfortabel und gemütlich fühlen können, auch wenn Sie in der Natur sind. Wir stellen alle neuen Möbel von den Sofas, Stühlen, Tischen, Betten, alles. Wir haben kristallweiße Quarzarbeitsplatten installiert. Wir haben gerade neuen Kies rund um den Umfang gelegt. Es ist etwas Erstaunliches und absolut Schönes

Wandern, Rafting, Mountainbiken, Reiten und Bootfahren gehören zu den Aktivitäten, die in der Nähe angeboten werden. Obwohl viele kommen, um sich zu entspannen, zu starren und die Natur zu genießen.

Diese Liegenschaft ist sehr einzigartig, da die Dürre in den letzten 3 Jahren Kalifornien heimgesucht hat und viele Flusshäuser im Spätsommer bis zum Herbst austrocknen sitzen auf dem South Fork River. Wenn Sie also bei uns wohnen, können Sie sicher sein, dass zu jeder Jahreszeit auf unserem Grundstück Wasser durch unseren Fluss fließt.

Die Decks sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang den Weg hinunter zum Flusszugang. Es gibt 2 private Ferienhäuser auf dem 6 Hektar großen Grundstück. Wenn Sie also eine größere Gruppe haben und beide Häuser vermieten möchten, können Sie sich gerne an uns wenden. Wenn Sie mehr Familie und Freunde haben, kann unser größeres Haus auch Platz bieten. Fabulous, nature lovers retreat. Loved sitting on the deck reading, listening to the sounds of the River. The little house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious for my husband and I. We went to Sequoia & Kings Canyon and wished we would have stayed a couple more days just to enjoy the Little house. The management team was very professional and very helpful. Wish we could give the place more stars.

The property is lovey and would stay here again. Only about 20 minutes from Sequoia National Park entrance. A short walk from the cabin to the decks on the river provided relaxing evenings to the sound of the river.Srey, the host, provided us with detailed information about the property and while we didn't see or speak to him during our stay, I was confident he would quickly respond should we need anything.Highly recommend

Overall really enjoyed the stay. Had a bad smell first night from previous tennant but it went away. Be aware, the shower is only comfortable if your under 5'2,Not kidding.

Perfect Stay For Our Anniversary

I'm not the best at taking vacations. I'm a worrier by nature but Srey made my trip stress-free. He was always available to me when i had questions or needed anything during the stay. Srey even helped us plan our trip several weeks in advance. As for the location itself, it was beautiful. We had a constant hum of the river and the stars were amazing at night. The house was clean and cozy. We used the BBQ and the stove for cooking and both worked great. The beds and couches were soft and comfortable. All of the linen and towels were also fresh and clean for us. I'm looking forward to my next trip to central California and have already talked with Srey about some of his other properties.

The Perfect Getaway in Nature

River Retreat House is the perfect place for a getaway in nature. The cabin is accessible from town via a 15-20 minute drive along a gorgeous, quiet mountain road and feels very remote (no cell service for us!), but it is equipped with everything you would need. We had a lovely time enjoying the gorgeous river that is accessible from the property and didn't see another soul. We also enjoyed the use of the propane fire pit and incredible views of the starry night sky from the backyard. The town of Three Rivers is very quaint and has multiple places to eat, drink, and shop on your way in or out of town, and after a very short drive you can be at the entrance to Sequoia National Park! We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return someday.

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

The property was just as described! Cute small and cozy cabin with a nice walk to the creek. I’m a clean freak and this property was extremely clean. Great place to enjoy Sequoia!

There are several things that made this a really great experience. First is Srey, the property owner/manager. I have stayed in several VRBO’s over the years, and she is by far the best communicator I’ve interacted with. In addition, she provided a wealth of information about the area - restaurants, markets, things to do - that saved us a lot of time. The house itself is very clean, well maintained, and in a wooded, private setting. The nearby property, which Srey also owns, was not an issue. There were people staying there while we were there; we never heard or saw them. The river is a short walk away and can be heard from the house. The internet is good which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. I look forward to staying here again.

OK but wouldn't come back

It was terribly difficult to find. Need better signage. Couldnt turn on the heater unless you disarmed the smoke detector. Bathroom faucets are backwards, toilet paper is behind you. What is that about? Sorry, but we have vacation rental property and I am much more particular about the experience our guests have. The water and decks in back were beautiful. The space was very clean.

Srey was incredibly responsive and informative. The retreat was spotless. Beautiful, but remote, location. Would be best if you plan on hanging out there for a good chunk of your trip - even not considering a line to get into the park the retreat is >1hr from General Sherman etc...

Great Host! Super quiet remote cozy stay!

Host was an excellent communicator before during and after our trip! House was super clean. Spacious for the two of us. Super remote/quiet and the river is a close walk. Would definitely stay again! Oh and the PacMan game was a bonus :)

Perfect for Sequoia

We rented this is to have a place to sleep and hangout between our adventures in Sequoia National Park. This property is less than 15 min from the visitors center. The cabin is clean, the beds are comfortable and the property is beautiful! I highly recommend staying here. I advise checking in while it’s still daytime because the location is hard to find.

River Retreat Cabin

This little cabin made me feel I was away from civilization, exactly what I was looking for. There are a few houses around which is what I wanted! The three day stay was fenomenal, quiet, the sound of birds and the river flowing made it feel so relaxing. If you’re looking to escape the daily grind of the city, the his place is just for you! Sequoia National Park is also very close, like I said this place is very conveniently located!! Will definitely go back, thank you Srey!!

Relaxing getaway

The property was very clean and updated. The decks along the river were a couple minutes walk from house and a great place to hangout and relax. The main attactions in Sequoia were 45 minutes to an hour away. Town of three rivers had a couple nice restaurant and Visalia is a short drive and has a nice down town. Had a wonderful stay at the property and would rent it again.

Cozy and comfortable

Stayed here with a couple of friends for a weekend exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The space was just right and the outdoor areas are well thought out and comfortable to use. The seating by the river was beautiful for morning coffee. Communication and check-in were easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We love traveling to the beautiful Sequoia National Parks so much that we had to have a home in Three Rivers. We are very outdoorsy and adventurous. We like hiking, kayaking, river rafting, hanging out at the lake, exploring nature, etc..., and so Three Rivers was the perfect location to accomplish all these things, and more.
When we began remodeling this Cabin Retreat we took a lot of pride in making it special. We didn't just paint over the cedar wood siding, but we meticulously stained it. We took our time to put together something special in the property that even though your in natures elements, you can feel safe, clean, comfortable and cozy in a newly remodeled property on the River. We put all new Furnishings from the couches, chairs, tables, beds, everything. We installed crystal white quartz countertops. We just put in new gravel all around the perimeter. It is something amazing and absolutely beautiful

This property is truly amazing. It has two amazing decks overlooking the South Fork of the Kaweah River. (which always has water flowing through it year round)

This property is very unique because as the drought has affected California for the past 3 years and many river homes dry up, well we are fortunate to say they we have NEVER dried up (knock on wood) because of where we sit on the South Fork River. So if you are staying with us be assured that anytime of the year that you will experience water flowing through our River on our property (which cannot be said for all properties in three rivers that advertise a river flowing through it).
