This was a great location for our older parents to join us and fish for the weekend. We were able to take our dogs, they had bowls and toys ready for them, as well as blankets for the bed to allow them to come up and cuddle at night. Beautiful sunsets and caught a good number of fish. We’ll definitely be back for another weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. The house was exactly as pictured, with spacious, comfortable rooms and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the screened porch quickly became our favorite spot for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful water views.The outdoor area was another highlight, offering a great space to unwind, enjoy meals, and take in the scenery. We also appreciated how easy it was to walk to the dock and enjoy the waterfront.There are a few areas where the property could be improved. The outdoor lighting could be enhanced, and some broken equipment around the property should be removed. The landscaping would benefit from trimming and refreshing, and the exterior of the house could use some attention to remove spider webs and overgrown foliage.Inside, the master bathroom shower doors had noticeable soap scum buildup and could use a more thorough cleaning. Folding luggage racks in the bedrooms would be a welcome addition for guests who prefer not to unpack into dresser drawers. We also found the smart TVs somewhat difficult to navigate, so a simple instruction guide would be very helpful for future guests. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would gladly stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. With a few maintenance and housekeeping updates, it would be an exceptional rental.

Quiet lake retreat

My family wanted a nice lake getaway for a few days of fishing. This house fit the bill. We rented a boat that we docked at the house dock and also fished off of the dock. We were very pleased with this property. We would most definitely rent this property again.

Oconee Hideaway

This is a lake rental on the upswing. The owner is obviously upgrading the property. They’ve installed a concrete patio and landscaping. The patio is large with a grill and family sized table and fire pit. It allowed the kids to play and stay out of the pine straw and dirt. The dock is made of modern decking so no splinters and it’s layer out so there’s always shade on one side or the other. Inside the house there’s plenty of room for all. The kids especially liked the upstairs loft. We found the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The internet service was fantastic and uses Roku for their streaming service. The best area for us was the screened porch with the view of the lake. Early morning coffee, evening meals and relaxing time was in that area. The sunsets were spectacular! Would I rent it again….heck yes!!
