Our host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our communications. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The view from the kitchen table of the water is beautiful. We enjoyed playing the board and card games available, and spending time outside on the deck and on the dock. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable week and look forward to coming back.

Danny was a great host. Due to unforeseen circumstances the housekeeper was delayed so Danny came in and cleaned it himself. We came back after dinner and the place was welcoming. He also provided information about the locale with things to do and places to eat. The cottage is charming with lots of towels, paper products, and other supplies so we never needed to ask for or provide anything. We are very picky about beds and these were very comfortable. The lake view is wonderful and the dock is easy to access and relaxing to sit on. The kitchen is very well stocked as well.

Beautiful cozy home! It is a bit older so the floor creeks but the renovations are very nice. There’s plenty of spaces to enjoy the views of the lake, like the large kitchen table or fire pit outside. We enjoyed all of the beautiful skylines. The shower was a little rusty and cleaning tools could have been replaced but otherwise it was a great place and we will be back.

first off Daniel was a very responsive host, we did have a few issues with our stay, the floors were very uneven , the listing states recently renovated, but the unit still shows its age. We did not know that your view of the lake had a bridge with consent traffic, but it was far enough away. The price of the unit was fair for what you get. We are not young, the walk to the dock is pretty hard, lol. This unit is great for younger families, not seniors.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was fully equipped kitchen, nice and clean. We had fun at the fireplace, enjoyed cooking on the black stone grill. Comfortable bed and sheets. My 84 year old grandfather was enjoying the fireplace and fishing of the dock.The owner was communicating and responding to our needs. Highly recommend for some simple lake side days. I even left you the possible 8 lb cat fish that snapped my fishing line.

We enjoyed our stay so much we extended twice! Cute little property with lots of room, for us and for our pup to explore. Other than to hit the grocery store, and to buy the pup a life vest we never left the property. Between, the lake, the kayaks, and the game room we stayed busy. The owner was very attentive as well, answering questions quickly. We're already planning to return for our family trip next year.

Perfect little house by the lake!

We stayed here for my twins graduation from USC. The house is spacious with lots of natural light. The kitchen is fully stocked and well designed. We loved the dining area with the full windows for a beautiful view of the lake. There are several spaces for entertainment and relaxation including darts, cornhole, and firepits. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning while watching an abundance of wildlife. We grilled out after the graduation and the large deck is amazing with lots of seating. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The owner was very prompt in all communication. Would highly recommend this fantastic place by the lake!

Wonderful lake stay

We stayed at this property April 27th-May 2nd, everything about the property was just as advertised. Clean,up-to-date and directly on the lake. Check in and check out was as simple as one could ask for. This being the first time we have used Vrbo we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Communication with the owner was fantastic and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit Lake Murray area in South Carolina.

Lots of things need fixin'.

The location was good. However there are lots of need for improvement - check in/out list, shower in need of repair, tv's streaming only not acceptable, repair to dock and ramps needed, no cleaning tool brooms etc. furniture in living inadequate no bed side lighting, grills & washing machine had to cleaned to use

House was clean. New linens. New towels. New appliances. Bed comfy. Very well stocked. Owner is fabulous. Quiet, relaxing and i left the place clean, trash taken out and dirty towels in the bathroom..dishwasher emptied. Will stay again
