Escape to a marvelous NEW cabin in the Salida area Monarch (old town of Garfield). This 4-bedroom 4-bath retreat boasts 2 king beds and 4 queen beds, perfect for a group getaway. This premier vacation home is in a relaxed and peaceful location which puts you in the middle of all mountain activities. Skiing/snowboarding, sledding, guided snowmobiling, 4x4, utv, atv, hiking, fishing, and hunting are a few activities you can access right outside the front door of this cabin. Perfectly situated 3 miles from Monarch Ski Area and a beautiful 15-minute drive to downtown Salid, and the Arkansas River. If you want to explore the west side of the continental divide Gunnison is a 45 minute drive away. On your down days relax enjoy our spacious patio and a quite creek that runs through the property.

During your stay enjoy the convenience of two garages to unload all your gear and toys while keeping your vehicles nestled warmly away. The cabin has a washing machine, dryer, heating, AC, Smart TV, and Starlink WiFi during your stay. A large dining table can seat 10 comfortably for family meals and after hour card games. With 4 bathrooms featuring showers and a tankless water heater, everyone can freshen up in comfort. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our favorite place!

Upon arrival the deck/ stairway to front doors was under construction so I wasn’t even sure if I was in the right place, it was really dangerous and difficult to step over the building supplies with our luggage.There were three of us staying for a work event in the area. So I chose this place based on there being enough bedrooms. When we arrived the upstairs was locked and there were only two bedrooms downstairs so I asked him if we could unlock the upstairs. He said it would be an additional 100. I explained we were coworkers and could not share bedrooms and I didn’t want to 100 since the property was advertised as four bedrooms and no where on the listing said there was an additional charge to access the upstairs. He agreed and gave us the code. The night before check out I asked if we needed to do anything for check out and he never replied.The house was lovely but there sure was a ton of mouse poops which I suppose is to be expected in the mountains. Overall it was fine just a little odd.

Terrible communication with host. Arrived at location and he has the second floor locked with a locked code so could not use upstairs 2 bedrooms. He Charges extra for more than 4 people. We had our son and his wife and 2 y/o staying for the weekend. He first charged us 1500 for the week for them. They were only staying 3 nights. He responded after my inquiry stating he charges like a hotel. We couldn’t add that on VRBO So we kept looking but then I got a notice to book with him and I thought he waived the added fees because they would just be there for 3 days. (My fault, never assume!). Upon arrival the upstairs was locked and we could not reach him by phone or email or text even up to the next day. We were willing to pay for the 3 days but received no response. We contacted VRBO and moved on. If you only want a small 2 bedroom unit, it was very clean. However, there is still work being done surrounding the outside of the home.

Plenty of space for our family. Nice new home with big beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed our time here and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. This house was a great base location for our family to ride trails.

Very nice new house

Clean new house with lots of space and a convenient location with everything we needed, in a nice neighborhood. Lots of rooms, beds, and plenty of space for a big family. WiFi worked great. I never receive an email with check-in or check-out instructions but I was able to contact someone and promptly receive a response, so that was only a slight issue. We would definitely recommend this rental, we had an excellent stay.

House was beautiful and spacious. Neighborhood was heavenly. I arranged the house to try and connect with family during my mother's funeral weekend. Property manager was a nightmare to communicate with.Check-in was not the best. I did arrive late at around 9 p.m.. The property manager forced four adults and one child to sleep in two rooms. In fact, two of the guests were elderly cousins of mine, and it was not conducive for them to not have their own beds. He accused me of lying about the guests without even giving me a chance to clarify. He forced me to pay 200 more to access the other rooms. My communication could have been better, but I do not feel like the manager was even open to my situation. He just kept calling me a liar on the messenger thread. It gave me a lot of anxiety and had a significant negative impact on my ability to relax and enjoy time with my family. He did not accept that I am an honest person and very willing to be forthright. Otherwise house is well stocked. Kitchen had all the things. The upstair's windows could use some screens and blinds. The driveway was a little bit dangerous for anyone with limited abilities. My elderly cousin fell on the steep gravel leading to the steps on the patio. There is great Wi-fi and no cell service (very spotty.) The location really motivated me to give it a better review, but in the end I am still sick about how the manager treated me.
