Das Cottage befindet sich in der historischen Wohngegend, nur 2 ½ Häuserblocks vom Historic Downtown Courthouse Square entfernt. Es gibt eine Vielzahl an Aktivitäten im The Square und Sie sind buchstäblich nur 3 bis 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom The Square und der berühmten Whiskey Row entfernt.
Unsere erste Immobilie in der Nähe von The Historic Downtown Square ist The Cottage, die über 1.550 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche mit Massivholzböden und Travertinfliesen bietet. Das Cottage verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, 1. 5 Bäder, ein großes Familienzimmer, ein separates Esszimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Essbereich mit Fensterplatz und einen Waschraum. Die Möbel sind gut ausgestattet und bieten ein romantisches, gemütliches Landhausgefühl wie in Carmel oder Monterey. Außerdem sind wir hundefreundlich, bringen Sie also das Hündchen mit.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett mit einem großen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und einem hübsch eingerichteten Sitz- / Lesebereich. Der Meister hat einen eigenen Fernseher. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett. Das Cottage bietet Platz für 5 bis 6 Personen.

Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen großen Samsung 46-Zoll-Flachbildschirm-HDTV, HD-Kabelanschluss und Blu-Ray-DVD, die Netflix streamen. Darüber hinaus verfügt The Cottage über eine Highspeed-WLAN-Verbindung. Der Speisesaal bietet Platz für 6 oder mehr für Ihr reiches Thanksgiving-, Weihnachts- oder Osterabendessen!

Die Küche ist zur vollsten Zufriedenheit selbst des anspruchsvollsten Küchenchefs bestückt! Der Gasherd ist in einer alten gemauerten Haube untergebracht und Sie können zusehen, wie Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten auf der Küchennische oder dem gemütlichen Fensterplatz zubereiten.

Das Beste bleibt zum Schluss übrig ... auf der intimen abgelegenen Terrasse. Einer unserer jüngsten Gäste bezeichnet diese Terrasse als The Plaza (siehe unsere Bewertungen). Entkomme durch die Hintertür zum Paradies, lausche den Vögeln und entspanne in der kühlen, schattigen Terrasse. Lesen Sie ein Buch oder meditieren Sie einfach.

Excellent location and beautiful property - dog friendly

We decided to do a last minute getaway to Prescott to enjoy the holiday celebrations - which are fantastic! This property has the ideal location that is close to center of town but still gives you a great historic neighborhood feel. The home has plenty of room and provides all the comfort of home. We took our pup so the patio was extremely convenient. Larry was a pleasure to work with. Definitely our go-to for all future trips to Prescott!

Fantastic Cottage in Prescott!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and quaint! Very close to all the action. I LOVED the garden tub and the water was hotter than my own at home! Great communication with property owner. I would 100% rent again!! Without hesitation.

Charming cottage - great for long weekend or more

Very charming cottage on a quiet street in historic neighborhood, near downtown / Whiskey row. Very comfortable accommodations, great back patio for small-group entertaining, modern amenities. Easy check-in / check-out and very attentive owner made for a relaxing weekend stay.

Our stay here was very nice! Although there were only 3 of us, we had planned on possibly 5 , the house was very cozy and comfortable! It had everything we needed and then-some! I would definitely stay here again! It's pretty quiet, clean, the patio is great, we made dinner one night and had everything we needed! Thank you Larry- We will be back!!

Perfect in every way.

I cannot praise this house enough. It is spacious, sparkling clean, and beautifully appointed. The location is a five minute walk to the charming downtown and excellent restaurants. But the best thing about the house was the wonderful patio. Our extended family, in town for the ERAU graduation, came over for a barbecue, and the beautiful landscaping and ample outdoor seating made the afternoon and evening a delight. Everyone commented on how lovely the house was. An award plaque for best historical restoration was well deserved. If you are coming to Prescott, this is the place to stay!

Feels like home!

Everything was perfect in our stay at the cottage. Lovely, well stocked and spacious kitchen. Great master closet, roomy bathroom, open floor plan, outstanding location. The Cottage was gorgious, warm and very inviting.

We absolutely fell in love with the Cottage. The private yard/patio is beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked we had everything necessary for cooking wonderful meals, the bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathroom has a fantastic stocking tub. Over all the decor of the entire cottage is lovely. We will be back, most definately.

Great location in older part of Prescott.

Everything was clean; except the couch which needs upholstering or replacing. Feathers were leaking out of couch. Also I put the very nice, soft afghan over my legs and my black pants now have either dog or cat hair on them. There are some plumbing issues which houeekeeper knows about but apparently Christmas week is not a good time for maintenance. The bay window was beautifully decorated. Master bedroom was comfortable and we slept well. Son and his wife found guest room pillows need to be replaced. All appliances worked good. Since we were all adult instead of a family with young children our expectations were different in a house. But fireplace was nice and we had dinner for 6 people 3 evenings and the kitchen dining area was good. All in all a good family visit and the living area was good for that

Family Pre-Christmas in Prescott

What a wonderful area to spend the Holiday season. The location was an easy walk to the adorable Prescott downtown area, that was all decked out with Christmas lights. The house was a perfect size for our family and we felt like we were in our own cozy home enjoying home cooked meals, the cute backyard and the family room gas fireplace was a perfect edition. Beautiful home and perfect location

My family and I travelled to Prescott for the Courthouse lighting ceremony and couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Larry’s lovely home. The house was spacious, very well appointed, and the perfect fit for the five of us. I initially misread the description and was prepared to share a bathroom amongst all of us - imagine our pleasant surprise at the way the jack and Jill was set up that basically created two independent bathrooms!! We felt at home and can’t wait to return :-)

Beautiful Cozy Home!

A Perfect Prescott AZ Hideaway!

Complete with all amenities...this lovely, bright, and airy 2 bedroom cottage was a perfect retreat during our recent visit to Prescott, Arizona. Larry Schmidt, the owner, was most gracious and accommodating. Larry Schmidt, owner of the Terrace, Townhouse, and Cottage, welcomes you to his VRBO units. Larry is still working for a company out of Minnesota and travels extensively. He enjoys golf, hiking, and traveling. Larry feels Prescott represents the charm of the West with midwestern values which is illustrated by the community centric Historic Square.

When The Cottage became available for purchase in the spring of 2012, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase this unique and fantastic property. I had watched this property over the prior years, and always felt that its street appeal and exceptional location were perfect for travelers exploring all that Prescott and The Historic Downtown Square has to to offer. In addition as a result of The Great Recession, our 401K like many others became a '201K'!!! I have made substantial improvements to the outside patio ('The Plaza') resulting in a fabulous venue, especially for long term guests for one or more months.

This property has been a labor of love, but it is now a shining jewel nestled in the residential historic district. All day long people stroll around the block with their dogs admiring the array of historic and eclectic homes, and The Cottage is a significant part of the area.
