ABOUT THE SPACE
Our family has enjoyed the beauty and serenity of Spinnler Point on Lake Wallenpaupack for generations, and now we've decided to share our beautiful home so you can create your own family memories.
Our lake house is the perfect place for you to relax with your family and enjoy making memories at the lake. Our unobstructive view of Shuman's Point Nature Area and level lot makes enjoying the outside space even more enjoyable. Play yard games or just relax under the shade of the mature trees lining the property.
Fill your days with fun-in-the-sun activities like fishing, tubing, swimming, boating, jet skiing and just plain relaxing! Spend the day on the lake then come home to BBQ on the large lake view deck. Or just keep swimming and drop anchor at one of the many lakeside restaurants. There's always room to park at their docks!
THE SPACE
* NEWLY FINISHED LOWER LEVEL will provide the additional living space your multi generational family will love with full bathroom and additional sleeping space.
This space will have a Family Area with TV, space to play games, do puzzles, enjoy a small home gym and has an additional refrigerator.
This beautiful lakeside chalet has a second floor master bedroom with view of the lake and king bed. The attached bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower. The guest bedroom also on the second floor shares the same bathroom and has a full size bed and twin/trundle perfect for the kids. The main floor master has a queen bed and attached bathroom which also serves as the bathroom for the main floor and has a shower. The open living room, dining room and beautiful kitchen is the perfect space to gather and share memories. This spacious room allows wonderful views of the lake everywhere you look! Lake Wallenpaupack's signature sunset will never fail to take your breath away!
Our lower level has another bedroom with a queen, a bathroom and great room with enough seating for the whole group.
OUTSIDE: Through the lower level doors, you'll find seating in the Adirondak chairs and the walk to the lake is an easy few steps down our grassy lawn leading straight to the a gradually sloping beach and lake swim area edge of Wallenpaupack's lapping shoreline where you'll find out private dock with room for 1 boat.
Outside the kitchen/dining area on the main floor you'll enjoy a spacious deck overlooking the sparkling lake and table seating. What beach day would be complete without a BBQ or a fire pit for roasting the perfect s'mores? You'll find it all here waiting for you in this spectacular Spinnler house!
PARKING is available for up to 5 cars including boat trailers.
7 DAY GUESTS are allowed and strictly enforced. This will make a total of 17 guests during the day (if you have 10 guests staying overnight). All guests including day guests will need to be listed on the Reservation Form when completed.
GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is contactless by lockbox. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received.
Guests have access to the whole house.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.

To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.

WHAT'S CLOSE BY
For snacks and necessities the Country Store on Route 507 is a pleasant walk, and the IGA Supermarket, CVS Pharmacy, Home Hardware and wine and beer stores are a 10 minute drive from Tafton. Fine dining is available along the lakeshore and in Hawley, an historic town with shops, taverns and restaurants along Main Street. You will see people fishing off the bridge over the spillway from the lake, right beside the public playground. An organic market, dollar store, Walmart and Home Depot are in Honesdale, 20 minutes away.

Swimming/Floating Welcome
Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.
Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand.
Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking.
Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
HOUSE RULES
No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind
NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

If you prefer a sandy beach with swim area and lifeguards, the Palmyra Township Public Beach is a sandy beach. You do have to pay for entry.
- is located on the northeast section of the lake and is home to numerous picnic spaces and pretty waterfront views, and it’s the perfect family-friendly destination. Beachgoers can swim in this lake’s tranquil waters from the park’s access points while enjoying the sun on its sandy shores. Lifeguards on duty, snack bar, volleyball, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and bathroom/changing facilities.

Spinnler Point is a beautiful community at the mid to north end of Lake Wallenpaupack. The location provides you with panoramic views of the lake and also allows for spectacular sunsets. We are also in direct line eye view for the July 4th Fireworks so sit tight and don't move because you will not need to leave the lawn to enjoy the fireworks.
Spinnler Point is only a 10 minute drive to grocery stores, drugstores, banks, restaurants and liquor/beer stores.
