We do want to respectfully address the damage claim, as it has been characterized as an assumption. Prior to your stay, you notified us that your dog would not be able to go with you to Ft Knox for the graduation ceremony,we agreed that your dog would be crated as our pet policy requires dogs not be left unattended. We were working in the barn during your absence and could clearly hear your dog barking and moving freely throughout the space — it was not crated as agreed. Upon your checkout, we discovered significant damage to our comforter from pet urine. This was not an assumption — it was documented and submitted to Vrbo with photographic evidence, which was reviewed and upheld. We genuinely appreciate your kind words about the space and about Tracy. We take our guests' experiences seriously, which is why we also take property damage seriously. We wish you well and hope your son's graduation was a wonderful celebration.
