The apartment was accurately described & perfect for the 3 of us. We appreciated Deborah’s place being pet friendly (with dog bowls if needed) & clean. The Vibe coffee shop is pet friendly & only a short walk.

Perfect place to stay in Elizabethtown! Everything downtown is within easy walking distance. The restaurant below the rental is currently closed, but there are plenty of other great restaurants and shops around the square.The rental had everything I needed, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful artwork throughout, much of it painted by the host, Debra. She was an absolute delight—friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay, everything was just perfect. We walked to a delicious pizza restaurant and then to a concert at the Theater nearby. Host was great with communication and provided everything we needed.

History and Charm

The room was in a great location in historic downtown Elizabethtown, with a nice second floor view of town. The owner/host was friendly and went out of her way to make sure the accommodations met expectations.

Very accommodating host. Building was built in 1880 so charming but old. Large apartment over a restaurant also owned by the host. The restaurant is very good and didn't disturb us at all. Very quaint place to stay.

Elizabethtown Visit for Baseball Tournament

It was a very nice apartment. It’s central to town and the Ripken baseball fields. Clean and comfortable. Deb was super easy to deal with and her restaurant is the best in town. Great stay. I hope we play there again!

Great location!

This place was really cute - on the inside! The outside had us thinking twice about our stay but the inside was very nice. An added bonus was a gift card for the restaurant located on the lower level and it was delicious! Also parking was in a lot around the corner. Lots of cute shops and boutiques within walking distance including an adorable coffee shop!

Baseball Weekend

We were in town for a Grandson's ball tournament at the Etown Sports Complex (beautiful venue). I couldn't have been happier to find this place, only 7 minutes away from park! The apartment is over her restaurant. It's a very comfortable stay in a historic building, with a French/New Orleans vibe, in the heart of restored Elizabethtown downtown. The pub food and atmosphere is really good too! 👍

Convenient location to Ballpark

The description of this apartment is accurate, its in a historical building and is nicely decorated with a mixture of antique and modern furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I was there attending baseball tournaments and its a perfect location, only 5-10 minute drive to ball park with handy locations to pick up drinks and ice on the way. The only thing I would suggest is an outside light by the entrance door, when its dark it was not easy to enter the code numbers for entry. Very nice. Thank you.

The apartment was exactly as advertised; it was clean and decorated nicely. But the thing that we were drawn here was the fact it had bar/restaurant below. That was not the case, it was closed. No outside patio for enjoying a drink or food. The parking was blocked by a non-running car, we assume. And to say there was street noise, which I know is not controlled by owner, was worse than we thought. Street noise is fine, sound like drag racers on streets below.

Not as quiet as we were led to believe

Nice apartment. You can't park at the property though so pack light. No oven/stove in the "kitchen", just a microwave. There was a lot of banging under the bedroom from the kitchen until about 1 am, but even worse than that is the noise of the traffic on the road--you don't notice it during the day too much, but when you're trying to sleep it is very disturbing. You also have to text the owner if you want to shower between 10 am and 10 pm--so that the restaurant can hold off running the dishwasher. Overall the stay was okay, close to many of the historic downtown restaurants and shops, but I wish I had known some of the things I've noted before booking.

You left my home in a mess. It took hours to clean dog urine and had to steam out the couch and throw away towels. Also there was dirty dishes , garbage piled up and you pulled the an air conditioning unit out of the window. You won the award for the worst guest ever...

Very disappointing

The noise of the street traffic is very loud… constant loud traffic passing. Very hard to sleep … bed lumpy and uncomfortable, window air conditioner unit barely cools and allows a lot of noise from roadway in. Bathroom clean, have to call to tell her to stop washing dishes in restaurant so you can have hot water at night. Location is great in the middle of downtown. Tv is Roku… no privacy in living room area people can walk by and see in . We only stayed 3 out of 5 nights…. The smell of strong inscense reaked through the apartment. ..owner lives right next door so she is constantly watching .

This guest was not able to be pleased no matter what. There are shutters on the living room windows on the shared porch, but her husband still decided to lay on the couch in a state of undress where others could see him and didn’t offer to cover himself. No one was watching or looking at anyone and yes, as stated, I live next door in my home. I give guests all the room they need and don’t bother them. As for the incense, I explained to her clearly before renting and even walked through with her, that I had a previous guest use incense and I had done 6 hours of cleaning to remove the smell. She knew this clearly before arrival and as stated, I walked through with her and her husband to make sure everything was ok. She said it was nice and I left. As for this guest, they left a huge mess, food in the fridge and on the counters. The apartment stays at a comfortable 69 degrees year round. As for the lumpy bed, that mattress is a Sealy and is 6 months old, no chance of wear. In the listing it states a very busy corner and above a very active restaurant, so I don’t know how much clearer it needs to be. This was a client that no matter how nice you are and how much you try, you can not make happy. Beware of listing with her unless you want complaints.

Sister Get-Away

Our host Deborah is so talented. She has taken a very old building and has done a great job renovating the apartment where we stayed. The food in her restaurant located below the apartment was so good and it was so convenient. Elizabethtown has a very pretty court square and Deborah’s Vrbo is in walking distance. My sister and I had a great visit and would return.

Super cute place and great location!

This property is super cute with so much character! It’s located near shopping, restaurants and bars all in walking distance and even has a pub/restaurant downstairs from the rental. Wish we could have stayed longer. Check in/out was easier and owed was available whenever I texted/called. Definitely would recommend it!
