You must stay here - Serenity Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were moved to this cabin after we loss water pressure in our first cabin. Both places were just as you see in the pictures on the website maybe even better. They were awesome, clean and in a quiet location but not far from all sorts of activities. Serenity Lodge was so spacious with lots of additions like the rec room, hot tub, and cinema area. All the bedrooms were wonderful with queen or larger beds. The place was just beautiful. I would certainly recommend the Serenity Lodge to any family or group. The Customer Service was the best and they made sure we were taken care of.

Upon arriving the cabin was very clean when beautiful, communication with elk springs resort was great and when we had a question they were quick to answer! We have already talked about renting this cabin again for the next we come. We all absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful Cabin

We did have to purchase a baby gate to help keep toddler in the area we wanted ,there are a lot of stairs ,there was no high chair or pack n play provided like some of the other cabins in the area . This cabin is really for older kids,but other than that we loved it . Clean and well taken care of cabin . Easy drive to either Gatlinburg or Dollywood.

Fall Break trip

It was clean and homey. We loved that it was stocked with dishes/glasses/mugs for this many people. Loved the porches with lots of seating! Felt remote but very close to Gatlinburg actually. Also only 3 miles to a grocery store.

Great Cabin- NEEDS CLEANING -LOOSE RAILING ON THIRD DECK

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off house itself is very nice. But there was cleanliness issues, layers of dust on curtains over sink and elsewhere you could tell it hadn’t been properly dusted in a long time. . , toilets were dirty, couple of Bed sheets had what looked to be pet hair and another had long hair and stains. Trash under bed. We were unable to use hot tub due to not being cleaned properly , it smelled sour and had white film. Ceiling leaking in several places. PICKETS loose and push away from railing on third deck where hot tub is , very hazardous. The kitchen is not very well stocked. For the amount of money guests pay, these things should not be an issue. We stay every year in different cabins and I have never had these amount of problems. We have even used Elk Springs resort in the past and have been very satisfied.

Very conducive layout for family gatherings - centrally located. Good size bedrooms. No blankets - it was cold. Hot tub worked and was good. Overall, the facility was not cleaned to a good standard. outside deck areas full of spider webs. Windows needed to be cleaned desparately.

comfortable and clean

Reviewer Comments: it was really nice and relaxing ....very complaints there however my daughter lost her visa card while there and someone from the lodge text me to ask if we left the card ...I advised "yes" and they said there would send it back....well I came to find out the next week over someone there in Tennessee tried to use the card at a Walmart my daughter had to cancel the card. For that I can not give any stars but overall we were pleased.

My stay in serenity cabin

Dust was thick on everything from ceiling fans to baseboards under beds you name it. Hot tub was not cleaned well. Kids enjoyed the game room and the scenery was beautiful

Beautiful location, unkempt house

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Serenity lodge, beautiful location but house unkempt. Check in process delayed about 2.5hours unable to get house code sent. Finally got response from management office. The house needs to be cleaned all light fixtures dusty, grease/ grime on top of microwave and refrigerator. All the decorations sitting throughout house very dusty, artificial plants look like they are growing hair from all the accumulated dust. Furniture is very worn , seating in great room and beds uncomfortable and squeaky. The porches need to be pressure washed, a lot of dust and spider webs. All bedding is old and discolored. House not well stocked, two towels for each bathroom, no extras. Linen closet is bare. Shower curtains in bathrooms with mildew, need replacements. Again the location is beautiful, but I definitely would not rent this one again. We were visiting as a family and rented this house, one of many rented by our family on this resort. Very disappointed, no common areas to gather, no community pool or outdoor park, for this to be called a resort. Not!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a fairly nice cabin. There were no pics of the bathrooms or washer & dryer on the website, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bathrooms were ok, just a bit tight. There’s a stackable washer/dryer. The 1st day I thought there was a leak under the kitchen sink because there were plastic bags just thrown under it that were wet. So I called maintenance & the came out right away. No leak. The biggest issue we had was the fridge. Ice dispenser wasn’t working & it started making a loud noise. So I called maintenance & they fixed the noise. Then like the next night, there was a drip in the downstairs bedroom so I called maintenance about 1:30 am. They didn't get back with me until around 9:00 & said someone would be there close to 1:24. We waited an hour, but we had to leave. They came out while we were gone & said they didn’t find anything. Anyway, it leaked again that night, which was our last night. I let them know when I checked out. Hopefully they got it fixed. Oh, the place was fairly clean, except the floors.

A beautiful Thanksgiving getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Due to covid 19, our regular family gathering at home was not an option. I’m so glad we decided to stay at this resort with our family. Plenty of space for the kids, and lots of fun in the game room and theater! The staff was very helpful in helping us figure out the theater functions and fixing our WiFi issues. We are planning to go back another year!

Nothing Luxury about this cabin

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our only view was the road,a small tree line, or the cabin next door, which has no drapes. Couch and love seat need to be replaced, Springs and support in bottom are gone. Not enough silverware or cookware in the kitchen for a five bedroom cabin. King beds were hard as plywood. Hot tub jets didn’t work properly. BBQ grill burners did not work. Needs a door mat at front door. Bathtubs didn’t have drain plugs. This cabin needs attention, seems that it was very nice at one time but it’s been neglected.

Family Getaway

Reviewer Comments: The owner was quickly responsive to questions and the location was great although there was not much of a view. The cabin was a little dated and could use a few basics in the kitchen for example a sheet pan and pitcher for drinks. Also the grill may need to be replaced. I don’t believe the floors had been mopped as there were sticky spots all over the kitchen. We had 10 in our group and we had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and layout of bedrooms was good. Too many doors in the small upstairs bath. We had a wonderful time but cabin overall was just ok.

Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice in size and what it offered but some of the furniture was dated. The cabin definitely need to be deep cleaned from top to bottom. 1st glance it appears to be clean but because of what was found throughout had me to question if it was cleaned at all verses being tidy up. The was very dusty the ceiling fans, light fixtures and pool table. There was a half empty water bottle left in the bedroom on the main level and trash in the lower level bathroom.The grill was filled and looked as if it was never cleaned. It was a little concerning because I am in the hospitality industry we went in cleaning everything. Outside of cleanliness it is a nice cabin just a little underwhelmed would not consider it luxury.
