Why Maple Flat?

The Maple Flat is located in the original historic main street building which used to house the Federal Bakery. The Federal Bakery, operated by my grandfather and great grandfather, was the home of Blairsville's famous maple rolls. Nowadays the tradition continues just a short block away at Market Street Pastries where you can try the sought-after treat! We decided to pay tribute to the maple roll's origin by featuring many handmade pieces of maple furniture as well.
