Crabtree Place: A Relaxing 60s Experience

Crabtree Place is a recently renovated 1960s home in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Coming to recharge? Relax in our family funk lounge or outside on the private patio. If you are here to engage with family and friends, there is plenty of space on the main level or outdoors. Need to work? There is a quiet space for that as well. Take a journey in the style of the 60s with all of today's modern comforts. You will find Crabtree Place to be a space waiting to fill your travel needs. The house is within a 10-minute drive of most of Midland’s activities including Dow Gardens, The Canopy Walk, The Dow Diamond (Great Lakes Loons Baseball), and the Midland Center for the Arts. It is close to the Dow Headquarters and MyMichigan Hospital if you are in town for work. You are only 15 minutes from MBS Airport and within a 20-mile radius of Central Michigan University, Northwood University, and Saginaw Valley State University. Soaring Eagle Casino is a short 30 minute drive away. Everything has been designed around softening your mood and increasing relaxation. The three bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, black-out curtains, and One-Beat chargers. The two bathrooms have basic amenities. Bring family and friends to enjoy indoor and outdoor games together. The game room includes a shuffleboard table and dart board that will help you reconnect with family and friends and perhaps go home with bragging rights. Enjoy corn-hole, Fowling, Kubb-The Viking Wooden Outdoor Lawn Game, Spikeball, Giant Jenga, and more for outdoor fun. Set up your work in a creative space to help generate new ideas. There is a desk provided with high-speed internet throughout the house. So if you prefer working while curled up on the couch or sitting at the desk, you are sure to get it all done. So, whether you need to recharge, engage or create, we have designed Crabtree Place to fill your needs. Your place is waiting. Keyless entry, you will be sent the code before check-in. Guests have access to the whole house, basement, patio, and yard. The washer and dryer are in the basement. Guests do not have access to the garage or a small basement owner area. We live in the neighborhood and would love to meet you if you desire. The check-in process is keyless so you can come and go as you prefer. If you need something, however, we are just a message away. Family-friendly, quiet neighborhood. This is the type of neighborhood where people walk with family and dogs and the kids play together. Midland is a town set up to drive in. There is a local taxi available but don't count on Uber here. We have plenty of parking in the driveway of the property. No parking overnight in the street. Midland also has BIRD scooters. They are available all over town but there are some very close to our place. If you are interested let us know and we will have some available near the house. Crabtree Place is a family-friendly travel experience. We are a non-smoking and pet-free property, with 10 PM outdoor quiet hours (respectable voice levels are acceptable). The house is fully stocked with towels and bedding/pillows all of which have been laundered especially for each guest down to the mattress and pillow protectors and each layer of bedding. You won't need to worry about cuddling up under the blankets and comforters here. They are fresh each time just for you. We provide 2 toilet paper rolls for each bathroom and 1 paper towel roll. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, and hand soap from a local shop are provided. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, toaster, blender, wine opener, and a pour-over Chemex coffee carafe with a hot water kettle. We provide Chemex coffee filters, locally roasted coffee, and tea from a locally-owned tea lounge. There are 32" televisions in each bedroom, a 55" TV in the living room, and a 55" TV in the basement funk lounge, each with Roku. PLEASE BRING your logins for your streaming services. Rokus are set up for “guest mode” so you can log in and be automatically logged out at noon on the day of your departure. ROKU has some free options for your watching pleasure if you do not have streaming subscriptions. No local TV service is provided.
