The construction next door was outside our control, but we should have warned you in advance and helped with access. We now notify guests of any nearby work before arrival On the odour: smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. We've had the property deep-cleaned and [added air purifiers / updated our house rules] to make sure this doesn't happen again. The pool has also been serviced, and we're adding better lighting and luggage racks to the bedrooms. To be clear, this is not a party house. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, and the games left behind by a previous guest have been removed. We appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we hope future guests will see the improvements.
