We had the best week at carried away. This was our first time being in the area. We loved the location! It’s a close walk to the beach and pool. It’s also close to a bike shop, bakery, and the local creamery. We have kids ages 3-10. The only down side is there is a lot of stairs if you have toddler climbers. We would definitely stay here again! The host communicates fast and helps any way they can!

The house was lovely The location was amazing and the walk to the beach took minutes The house was beautiful on the outside and having 2 driveways was very convenient The inside was very nice, some minimal upkeep is needed. There was some peeling paint and the place could use a vacuum that works better on the sand. Did not have enough room for trash When we arrived there was a full trash can and it was picked up 2 times a week but by the end of the week we had trash building up inside due to not having enough space other properties on the road had 2-3 cans.

The house was conveniently located close to the beach. The space was great. Overall, we were pleased.There were some issues I have to mention. The property promoted bunk beds that we were planning to use for the kids. However, they were located in a closet. That was pretty disappointing.The appliances are in desperate need of repair. Dishwasher handle kept falling off. Washer is on the fritz. We’re not picky, so it didn’t ruin anything. But there may be possible renters that may be a little more picky.We had a blast.

Blue mountain vacation

We had a great time in this property. It was very close to the beach and the pool. There are many restaurants near by. It is also close to Water color and Seaside.The people managing the property are great. I had a question about beach rental and they responded very quickly.Over all we had a great time we. I will definitely recommend this property.

We really liked this house a lot. It was quite large and very close to the beach. We loved the pool and private access to the beach. We also loved being so close to the blue mountains bakery and within walking distance of several restaurants. The house was big and had a washer and dryer which was nice. The decks were all nice too. The only thing we did not love was the “bunk bed nook” was inside a closet inside of a bathroom connected to the main king bedroom. It was not usable for us personally. The first level had a queen bedroom and access to a bathroom. The second level had a main king bedroom with a bathroom attached and one of the closets inside the bathroom was turned into a tiny nook with bunk beds in it. We did not use them. The second level also had a king bedroom with a shower and bathroom within the same room. The third level had two twin beds. So there’s still plenty of space without using the bunk bed nook. I just thought it was worth mentioning. Our air conditioner stopped working while we were there but the company had it fixed within 24 hours which was nice! They were very helpful. I liked the house and would definitely go again.

Best beach location

We have stayed in multiple areas on 30A and Blue Mountain is now our favorite after a week in Carried Away. The walk to the beach was quick and easy for everyone in our family, which is one of the most important things for us. The private beach was the least busy beach we have had in the last 6 years. The home was more dated than we were expecting based off the pictures and there were a few quirks, like some of the exterior doors not closing all the way. It seems like a very lived in home, could use some updating, but we very much enjoyed our stay. The ease of having a bakery and smoothies next door and a gas station near buy for quick ice trips was an extra plus. We have already talked about booking this house again for next summer.
