This property is perfect for traveling all over Maine. It is centrally located and close to Ogonquit, and Kennebunkport. Kittery is right down the road and Freeport and Portland are Less than an hour drive!! We love the parking pass, it allows you to have beach access, which is about 25-30 a day otherwise! Definitely will stay here again!

The apartment was clean -- kitchen was large and the island very functional...bed comfortable...bathroom with two sinks functional...shower was huge with plenty of how water...access with the key in a lock box thoughtful...parking pass to area beachs was a real PLUS! Overall location was great for Kennebunk area relatives and still ner enough to Portland cruise and the annual to trek to LLBean (even under a HUGE tent while they rebuild). A very nice visit to a fully renovated old farmhouse.

The house seemed like an ideal place for a stay in Maine, though we were not able to enjoy all of the provided amenities due to a small communication mishap regarding the heat in the house. While we were forced to find other accommodations, the hosts were professional and responsive, and they processed a refund in a timely manner. We understand that things happen and appreciated that the hosts were willing to work with us to make things right. We were impressed by the hosts' commitment to guest satisfaction and hope to see improvements in communication moving forward.

We booked a last minute trip to Kennebunk with our 3young children. The location was great for walking to some local shops and restaurants. The biggest issue we had was that there is a door in the unit connecting it to the upstairs unit which is also rented out. The latch to lock off the door is on the other side, so somehow the other renters unlocked it and my 2 year old opened the door. We quickly closed it and realized we had no way of locking our unit from the other guests. Somewhat concerning since we did not know the other renters and they could have entered our unit at any time.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! We wanted to clarify that the connecting door has locks on both sides, so for the door to unlock, it must be unlocked from both sides. This means it would have been unlocked from your side as well. The latches are positioned up high on the door, so it wouldn’t have been possible for a toddler to unlock it. We appreciate you bringing this up and hope it didn’t impact your overall stay, and we’re glad you enjoyed the location and convenience for your family.
