This cabin does not disappoint! Hands down the Best View of any cabin in the area! The layout and amenities were wonderful! The sun rises on the front of the cabin, away from the bedroom, so you can sleep in. The bed is super comfy. The hot tub is huge, so taller people ca. Stretch out. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of silverware and plates/bowls. The owner didn't skimp. And the privacy! The cabin abouts a cliff and the back porch is surrounded by trees and privacy screen. No one else can see the back porch, which is an oasis with the grill, large hot tub, and seating. We thoroughly enjoyed that back porch, rain and shine!

Secluded yet close to everything

Everything was so great! We got some of the best sleep we’ve gotten in a long time thanks to the bed, ceiling fan, and blackout curtains. The view is wonderful. The lighter for the firepit was out and we got one delivered personally the next day. The cabin is beautiful and everything was as expected.

Great Location and View

Overall the trip went great. It did not start out that way though. The first night we went to lay down and the bed was very clearly dirty. The sheets on the nicely made bed were not clean. I called the company to find out where the extra sheets were kept but they do not keep an extra pair on location. We waited almost an hour to receive a new set. They did wave our cleaning fee of 70 but we did not get to bed until after midnight because of this. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced your first night. We hold a very high standard for this cabin, and we deeply apologize for any dirt that may have been on the sheets. While we were glad to resolve the issue and waive the cleaning fee, we understand how frustrating that delay must have been. We’re reviewing this with our team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the rest of your stay and the beautiful location and view.

View was breathtaking. The development is fairly new, so there is still some wildlife in the neighborhood - saw some deer and dozens of bunnies, also lots of pollinators.Location is central and convenient, but the last stretch of the road is gravel with potholes.Sauna and hot tub were relaxing, but it was super hot in July, so they didn't get much use.Downsides: Balcony furniture could be more comfortable, kitchen haf no bakeware and only a couple of storage containers, mattress got a little warm overnight, luggage racks and one closet rod are the only clothing storage in the bedroom unless you count cabinets in nightstands and bathroom vanitiesOverall, a relaxing stay. The view alone was worth the trip. If you want to enjoy the beauty of RRG without leaving your vacation home, this is a great place to do it.

Hi Lacey, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We're so glad you enjoyed the breathtaking views and the opportunity to see some of the local wildlife. Those are definitely some of our favorite parts of the area as well. We appreciate your feedback on the balcony furniture, kitchen items, bedroom storage, and mattress. We'll share those suggestions with our property management team as we continue making improvements to the guest experience. We're also happy to share that the road is currently being addressed, and we hope to see improvements there soon. Thank you again for staying with us. We'd love to welcome you back to this cabin or any of our Red River Gorge Getaways properties in the future!
