This is the perfect location for a lake house stay. The owners are amazing and ensured that everything went smooth. Very accommodating to check in and out times. The place is fully stocked with everything but a 3 course meal very clean. We had 5 guest in the house and there was always room and never overcrowding. The kids and us parents enjoyed the hot tub and the grill as well. The bathroom has a room warmer for those cold months. Very clean especially for a lake house. No bugs inside or creepy crawlers of the night that you sometimes run into at lake houses. The kayaks were a big hit. We loved the fire place inside and the fire pit outside. Definitely a great taste of nature!

Our hosts responded quickly and promptly. Very nice people. The kitchen was very nice and stocked well. Spacious and easy to work in. The hot tub, we had issues with and the hosts tried very hard to walk us through trying get it working. To us this very minor and we really enjoyed our stay

So Relaxing!

Our family of 5 had the best time on our stay! Our days were spent floating by the dock, cooking out at night, and just pure relaxation and family time. We did explore one day, and went to Brasstown Falls, highly recommend! The property was super clean; the owners were great to communicate with. The neighbors around the home are also so friendly!

We didn't use the hot tub to know how it was but everything at the house was very nice. We had a hard time with the washer but I am pretty sure it was user error. Lol The beds were super comfortable, plenty of pillows were provided. I would rent this location again. Thank you to the host!

Peaceful and quiet

Very restful place; tucked out of the way on the lake. My friend and I enjoyed exploring in the provided kayaks, and tried out the ninja grill. We didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub or any firepit type things. We left wishing we had one more day to hang out on the water. The dock was in good repair, and the house was cozy.

Great getaway for relaxation and fun, Great Owners

We were looking for lake property for week and couldn't be happier after finding this listing. First, communication from owners was great to answer questions and provide suggestions on what to do. Second, the house is very well stocked with anything you need for your stay including spices and seasonings for cooking. The dock area is very nice due to having covers to stay out of sun if you want but always an area open if you want to get tan. Water was up during our stay so depth off end of dock was well over 15 feet. Kayaks were great and they also have deck box for storing items at dock so you don't have to haul back up to cabin after use. TVs in living room and master bedroom were nice to have with large variety of programming. Had two 15 year old and 13 year old grandkids with us and they enjoyed dock, spa and great wifi (not in that order). Only thing I would caution visitors on is the walk from house to deck. We are in our 60's and just had to take our time up and down the hill. Lots to see in area and Lavonia and Taccoa are about 20 minutes away for anything you need. The egg McMuffin maker was also nice to have for breakfasts in morning. We will be back as this is great vacation spot with great hosts.

Perfect getaway!

What a wonderful cabin on the lake! The home has a vintage vibe with all the conveniences of modern technology! It was a great time to be a little secluded from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life.The home reminds me of the construction methods and materials of my youth. Tasteful decoration makes it feel extremely welcoming. The internet is very fast and easy to use. The television has a box where I don’t have to sign in and out of all my entertainment apps. However, the home provides much other things to do that minimize the need for television!There are both covered and uncovered porches on the home that face the lake. A wonderful grill is strategically placed on the covered porch. The grill was modern, clean and ready to use. The kitchen is tastefully equipped for meals, so all I had to do was bring my own groceries and cook as if I was at my own home.If you prefer morning coffee near the water as I do, there is ample room on the dock to sit and enjoy the morning. The water is deep at the dock and offers a supreme swimming experience, although the water was a bit chilly in April. If you have a boat or jet ski, there are boat ramps conveniently located nearby and ample space to dock on the property. The neighborhood dead ends on a peninsula, so the traffic is light or absent for runs or walks. The scenery is pleasant to take in. In summation, this home is the perfect getaway to rest your soul from a busy world!

We recently bought this property for the amazing lakeview with dreams of moving here when our youngest graduates' high school. We are both working professionals that have blended families. Together we have 5 young adult/teen kids. We find this property to be a perfect getaway from everyday life and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The cove provides a perfect protection to float or swim in the summer without turbulence of intense waves from boaters. The back screened porch is a relaxing view without being eaten by mosquitos. The beautiful kitchen is perfect for making meals and having great conversation around the island. The fireplace is a romantic setting with unlimited streaming with hundreds of channels to choose from. This property has been put together with thought and love for building memories and relationships, we hope you love it as much as we do!
