This shingled 1-bedroom cottage perches just steps above the water, with easy beach access. The living room has a water view, and the kitchen is fully equipped, with a dining table that seats four. Off the living room is a deck that offers space for lounging and enjoying the views of the beach and water. A half bath and washer/dryer are adjacent to the kitchen.

Upstairs, the loft bedroom overlooks the living room and the water, and offers a comfortable king bed. Up a steep ladder is a small sleeping cubby, with a narrow sleeping pad for an older child or agile adult. The adjacent bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub with a large window looking down at the water. A large walk-in closet completes the upper level.

Wifi and cable are provided; cell phone reception is adequate but not ideal in all areas of the house. Enjoy the convenience of a washer/dryer, new dishwasher, and gas range.

This property is perfect for a couple or small family, but is not recommended for toddlers or very young children.

Just steps down from the cottage is the beach and sandbar. Fishing and swimming (especially when the tide has come in over a sunny sandbar) - make for wonderful memories. Miles of walking trails extend through the woods across the road. The charming village of Langley is a mile and a half away - a five minute drive or a walk along the beach - with shops, galleries, restaurants, and more.

The cottage is adjacent to the Log Castle vacation home (vrbo.com/1015151) and can be rented by itself or with the Log Castle, to provide additional sleeping and living quarters. This property is new on the market and has no reviews yet, but the property manager is an experienced Premier Host.

There is an owner occupied apartment on the property, so we can answer any questions or address any issues you may have either in person or by text. A 10:00 pm quiet time is requested.
