Diese obere / 3. Etage im R-Gebäude mit Aufzug im Ocean Village Club befindet sich in einer Wohnanlage am Meer in St. Augustine Beach. Dieser Komplex am Meer bietet eine Vielzahl von Annehmlichkeiten für das ganze Jahr über Spaß und Entspannung. Schwimmen Sie in einem beheizten Pool oder im Meer. Did you not use the starry night lighting in the recessed kitchen ceiling? It's pretty fancy ;-). This was a perfect property for the St. Augustine area. The check in process was very difficult through the property but the owner was super helpful over the phone to help us. The place was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a few days on the beach and riding our bikes in the area. We would love to rent again

Just what we needed! Beautiful beach, pools, condo.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Condo was beautiful, location perfect! Didn't find out until day before that we needed to bring paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags. Would have been nice to have that info in VRBO at time of booking. We had a wonderful stay and will come again!

Thanks Jenny. Just to clarify, all guests do get a roll of paper towels and toilet paper for each bathroom, one pod for the washer and one pod for the dishwasher. As mentioned, the paper towels are one thing that most guests may need more of, but we also supply washable kitchen towels as well to minimize the need for additional paper towels.

Excellent stay!

Owner communicates extremely well and is very responsive and helpful. The condo is more spacious than we expected. It was nice to have two bathrooms since we had our teens with us. The property was quiet and a shorter walk to the beach than we thought it would be (very short!). We had a great time and would stay here again.

The property was just as described and had all the amenities from coffee to toilet paper to beach items. However, twice there was an issue with the elevator which made it difficult for the other three ladies I was traveling with, who each had some type of disability, making it difficult to walk up and down the stairs.

Check in times were different on Vrbo listing than what was sent to us from the property manager. Elevator out of order, uncomfortable beds in 2nd bedroom, dishes and silverware were dirty in cabinets, master bedroom and bathroom were great, 2nd bathroom had water pressure issues. Overall the little things we were able to overlook.

Jamie, thanks for your review. You didn't let me know of any issues through VRBO. We removed the water saving restrictor in the master bathroom - there is no issue in the hall bathroom, it just has a water saving shower head. 2nd bedroom beds will be replaced before summer as I replace all mattresses every other year. The elevator is nothing I can control, sorry you were inconvenienced with that item that was outside my control.

Just as advertised and incredibly comfortable. Very acoustically insulated. Even though it was high season with a lot of people and small children next door, the condo was very quiet. Maintenance came within an hour when called. Property Mngmnt & Maintenance were very friendly. Our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Pleasant stay at an attractive condo.

Condo is nicely decorated, impressively clean and tidy. It features a pleasant view of the grounds and peekaboo view of the ocean. We were impressed that the owner contacted us on day one to ensure everything in the unit was in order. Upon our notifying him of a couple of items in need of repair, he contacted the office. Repairs were made early next day.

Great location, nice condo.

Everything about the condo was good. We had an issue on our first night. I reached out to the property management company and never got a response. We reached out to the owner through the VRBO portal the next morning and he had everything corrected before we were back from golfing and everything else went smoothly. I would suggest not listing the management company if they are not going to be the ones to handle issues. The owner was great though and very responsive.

In looking into this we realized the wrong unit number was put into the communications with my onsite managers and the name used was not the same as the one on the reservation through VRBO, thus we they weren’t able to address The issues. Great place, great location

We stay in this complex every year and this was by far the nicest unit and best location within OVC we've been in. A short walk to the beach and steps from the pool made this perfect for our family. The elevator in the building was also great for hauling luggage and groceries. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Our only issue was on checking in - the gate code didn't work and then there weren't any keys left in the keybox on the door! It was after hours so the management company was unreachable. The owner helped us and thankfully had personal keys we were able to use until the rental office opened the next morning, but after a long day of travel a better arrival would have been nice. Not the owner's fault and the unit is wonderful, but the management company needs to do better to make sure guests have the right code and can access their rental.

Nice Location But Not Quite As Described

Location was good- near the beach. We really enjoyed the area and loved St Augustine. Now for the disappointing things... Property owner waited to email the rental agreement until day before our stay so if there was anything objectionable in it, we were stuck with it. He also didn't give us any instructions on condo access/entry. We had to figure out how to call the management office to get access. Property owner slightly misrepresented some things in the description. The pool was NOT heated as stated. The "ocean view " from balcony is an old photo before trees grew taller and partially obstructed the view. The "new luxury memory foam mattress" was a Walmart foam topper on a worn out old mattress. Housekeepers do a poor job cleaning- kitchen utensils are dirty and old, dust everywhere, some windows don't work, blinds are cheap and some keep falling off. Investing a few bucks into fixing these things would make staying here much nicer.

The majority of our reviews for our condo are 5 stars, so please read all reviews. This is not the normal experience of our guests. Clarification Needed: 1. When you rent our condo through VRBO, your rental agreement is through VRBO, there is not an additional rental agreement. I use a property management company to give access codes to the condo and they do give the codes about 48 hours before your stay as a safety measure for our property. Access instructions are included in the documents sent via the property managers; you do have to open it and read it to get the information needed. 2. There are 2 pools, the one in the center of the property is absolutely heated to about 88 degrees. This was also included in the documentation this guest did not read. 3. If you look through all the photos in the listing you will see that the view is not mis-represented at all and are current photos. Again, this guest did not read the full description or view all photos. 4. The king mattress is less than a year old and is fairly firm; There is a memory foam topper that can optionally be put on the bed if it is too firm for guests. It is not a cheap topper from Walmart and can be taken off if it's not to the preference of the guest. 5. We invest about 5-10K per year in upgrades. We have done a lot of the big things including kitchen appliances, new full front loading washer/dryer, new king mattress, kitchen table and chairs all within the past 18 months. We are doing doors and windows this winter. We will make sure housekeeping does a deep clean to address any cleaning issues.

This condo at Ocean Village Club was rented by my parents since 2010 during the winters and when the opportunity to purchase the condo materialized, we jumped at the opportunity. The complex is well maintained and we love the high ceilings in this condo and the open airy feeling they provide. The beach is close to the condo and we love being close enough to hear the ocean. The property has two pools and private beach access close to the condo. One pool is heated all year long, and we love being able to swim any time we visit.

The condo has been completely renovated; bathrooms, kitchen, tile floors in the main living spaces, ceiling fans, furniture, and all new lighting - it looks brand new inside. I love that I can walk onto the balcony and see the beach, it's so peaceful and beautiful.
