The house was clean, the host was quick to respond to questions, and the fenced backyard was great for our dogs. We were looking for a last minute spot close to the beach and this worked great for us. Foley is such a cute town. Highly recommend pizza from Scallywags and coffee from Coastlands Coffee.

This was a great place right down town and close to everything. Even fenced in backyard. We really liked the idea that we had our own washer and dryer.

A/C did not cool. 75 degrees during day 74 thru the night was about it. Never shut off could not get it down to 70 degree setting. This was an issue reported just several reviews earlier. For a unit up to 6 persons there is very limited seating ,no dinning table and or chairs for inside.Password was wrong on info online.

The A/C is checked after every rental. I have yet to experience what is described in this review. It f the pics provided were viewed, it would have been known there is no dining table. It’s a bar with 4 chairs and a 2-person table. House does sleep 6.

Our stay in Foley was nothing short of perfect. Steve’s cottage was the ideal getaway for my wife, our pup Max, and me as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need.Its central location made it easy to explore — just a quick 15-minute drive in any direction brought us to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and plenty of other great spots along the coast. We especially loved the fenced backyard, which was a huge bonus for Max.Even close to home, there’s so much to enjoy — cozy coffee shops, unique local eateries, and quiet streets perfect for a morning stroll. Whether you’re looking to relax or adventure, this cottage truly has it all.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you, Steve, for providing such a wonderful home away from home!

Beautiful home! My family and I enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything. Beaches less than 20 mins away, Lamberts near by and Tanger outlet is less than 10 mins away. Will book this home again

We had NO internet or AIR CONDITIONING. The host was nowhere to be found. Even after contacting VRBO support, they tried many times to contact them and couldn't get into conta.ct with them. The yard was full or fire ants which was very uncomfortable for my dogs. The neighborhood was less than ideal. A neighbor was 'in our face' about it being a BNB and we were uncomfortable with the situation.

I received no calls or texts thru the app or elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with the A/C or internet. No one else has complained about any of this. And fire ants are incorrigible in southern Alabama. However, I will have the yard treated again. The A/C just had its seasonal cleaning and the internet tested fine by the service provider. My cell phone is on my VRBO site - always has been.

The house was clean and in a great area. Not far from the restaurant and activities we did. The only thing i didn't like was the flooring( made like carpet) in the main bathroom shower. Other than that everything was GREAT!!!!

The home is very convenient to downtown Foley. Good restaurants and community activities near by. The town has a great train station exhibit, model trains, and a kiddie train ride.This house worked out okay for us. Rather quite older neighboorhoid. Small fenced in back yard was good for our small dogs. Doggie waste bags were provided. Good area to walk dogs in neighborhood. The home was clean and good open kitchen & living room area for our 2 year old grandson to play. Nice utility room (not cooled) with washer & dryer. The beds in the master & 2nd bedroom "sagged or dipped"....could be updated/replaced. The bathroom in the master bedroom is small and doesn't have an electrical outlet. It minds me of the bathroom in a small travel trailer. Don't know about the two single beds in the 3rd bedroom. Also noted no smoke alarms. The provided WIFI information was not correct. We would consider staying here again if beds upgraded.

The good: The house is located two blocks off the main road through Foley and is the same distance to a local coffee house. The exterior of the house was maintained, and the fenced-in backyard was a welcome addition. There was a nice table set in the backyard, and the neighborhood overall is quiet. There is one Harley located close, and you’ll know it when it starts. When you walk into the house, you immediately enter the living room/kitchen area. Full kitchen with a center island and a coffee bar. It is an older home, but pleasant. To the left are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bunkbeds have been taken apart, as you see in one photo. The laundry room is an enclosed carport that has been nicely converted. The owner is extremely quick to respond to any comments or requests. The other: The main bedroom at some point was an addition throughout the years. I noticed that the room stays a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house. It is nice that there is a door directly to the backyard in the master, allowing your pet a short distance first thing in the morning to get out. What we were not prepared for was the bathroom in the master. When I say small, it is an understatement. The toilet sits extremely close to the sink, to the point that I had to move my knee to accommodate the sink when sitting on the toilet. There is no way you are leaving anything more than a toothbrush in the bathroom. Also, there is no exhaust from the shower. 3.5 stars because of the bathroom.
