Staycation

This house is in an excellent location for shopping and downtown Dayton events. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Great house for a family and the backyard is great for entertaining. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. Kroger is literally around the corner for groceries and Trader Joe’s. Great communication with the host!

Great stay & nice home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood very close to the grocery store and many other conveniences. We made good use of the whole house and were able to cook meals in the kitchen and watch movies in the living room. It’s a cozy and comfortable home and we would definitely stay here again, thanks!

Convenient

Very convenient to groceries and shopping, highways, and downtown. Easy to park in driveway. Comfy beds, nice kitchen. Some awkward spots in house between couch and fireplace (difficult to carry groceries into house from front door) and in bathroom. It was cold and rainy so we did not go into backyard, but it looked inviting.

House Inspection ReportInitial Impression and Exterior Issues• To start, when we first arrived at the house, we had to check the address to make sure we were at the right place.• The house looked abandoned; none of the landscaping was done, and the grass was a foot and a half tall.• It looked like it had not been mowed in a couple of weeks.• The backyard looks like a jungle, unlike the pictures.• There was debris outside next to the garage.• Just a bad first impression.Interior Issues and Maintenance Needs• The beds are very low to the floor, so if you have any disabilities or health issues, they are hard to get out of.• The toilet is loose and not attached to the floor; the towel ring next to the bathroom sink is about to fall off.• The drains in the bathroom are very slow.• The blinds throughout the house are old and dirty.• The closer on the back screen door is broken.• The house appeared to be clean overall, but on closer inspection, it needs a good deep cleaning.
